That's hardly a surprise but it makes me wonder what will happen to Wave 1...will we get more of that wave throughout the year or is this it for all retail ? Will Hasbro re-release the wave again next year or not ? I am guessing they're not saying so we'll rush out and get 'em all and make even more money for them. It is the toy BUSINESS after all.

They kicked them off with a bogo sale so I don't think we will see the line again. The packaging looks horrible. I picked up a HISS tank w/CC and his elbows and knees don't bend. Weak. I'll be avoiding this line now and in the future.

I'm sorry you feel that way, however I have to add, that's why one should always be informed before buying. Ask any Joe fan and they would have told you what to expect, the new vehicle drivers are being cut down on articulation, not the entire line. The single card figures will have knee and elbow joints, some, like the ninjas, will even still have ankle and wrist joints.

I hate to see someone base this line entirely on the vehicle drivers. As some of the single carded figures have actually turned out surprisingly well, in spite of Hasbro's moratorum on fifteen points of articulation for all.

Sadly I fear that we won't be seeing much in the way of Joe products for the rest of this year, which is why I'm glad I've got at least some of these figures. With a bit of luck I'll manage to score all of the ones I'm interested in before they vanish utterly from retailers shelves.

Unfortunately it would appear the TRU are the only stores stocking these things, Wal-Mart and just about every other chain must have sent their unopened cases back to the manufacturer instead of even trying to make some money back on them. Which is a real shame, as I'm certain they could have sold them even without the movie. If nothing else, loads of scalpers would have swooped down on their stock like vultures for the carcass of a dying animal.

The Wal-mart in Pickering got some of the Retaliation in stock so I presume other Wally's will as well. They got all the single figs except the Commander and the cycles and some cheaper vehicles. That's where I picked up my GI and Cobra Troopers as TRU was all sold out. I am guessing like TRU they will sell what they get and that's it.

My curiosity lies in the fact that there is a 10 month window before the movie is actually released. The last time Hasbro was faced with this type of debacle the ended up releasing one of the most successful lines of figures, as far as collectors are concerned.

On a side note, i guess this means that the Renegades show is definately not coming back even though it was on "hiatus" for the movie

No shock there.
