I'm curious what was the total cost of the Flash figure.
including
price
shipping
and any customs brokerage fees?
Any help on this would be awesome.

It was $15 for club members

8-9 shipping for me (I'm in MB)

Total cost with conversion was like ~$27. No brokerage fees on mine

FINALLY got Jay Garrick BUT got dinged with $18 custom fees (HST + $10 handling fee) for a friggin' $71 purchase.. I thought we don't get taxed anymore for any purchases under $200 or does it only apply when crossing the border?

So for those that paid for this subscription: was it worth it?

I think it's worth it. I'm really liking the upcoming figures and I hope next years sub gets the green light to go forward!

Depends. To me the 2012 is worth it for Metron and Elasti-girl. The Metal men are OK, but I'm missing Gold and Mercury.

I thought it was well worth it and will be signing up again this year. It's only 1 monthly figure this year as well, no oversized besides the club exclusive, so it's just a flat 18+ shipping every month, which is more than manageable.

Thanks for all your input. I gotta think about it some more. Don't know if I want to commit to buy every figure. I may have to cherrypick...

One option might be to find a comic store that will buy your extras.

So Mattel is putting the 2014 sub up for sale in a few weeks, who is in for next year? I've been cherry picking this line for the figures I most wanted, but I'm finding I missed too many figures, so I think I'll be subscribing for the first time next year. Anyone?
