Flavor of the Month?

My current flavor of the month is the G.I. Joe Modern line. Last month was DCIH, but this month I'm back to hunting down Joes that I missed the first time around. They're dominating about 95% of my toy budget right now. :p

Anyone else have something they're really into right now?

I think I have a Hotshot or Boomerang somewhere in the basement...circa 1989(highschool days)... I also wore out a Grasshopper,Hornet and Hunter before those...Now my son and I practice and race at Sid's Ponds track down the street from us :)

Lucky you are so close to Sid's. I don't have any tracks closeby, so I just mainly build and display.

Here's my Grasshopper too. These are the rerelease models. I just preordered the rere Rough Rider too, can't wait to build that one!

I know what you mean. I dropped over $100 on Joes this month alone. Since there's been a bit of a slow down in other lines I collect, I've been catching up on Joes I missed the first time around. Getting expensive! However, really looking forward to having my Zartan with swamp skier! :D

So I'm still hunting down any 25th ann Joes I want for my loose collection, but I will also be focosing on any I'm missing for my MOSC collection. However, I think I will detour a bit later on and try to get some ROTF figures. Mostly just interested in the Human Alliance toys.

With a week until the movie it's not surprising that ROTF is the Flavor of the Month for a lot of Action Figure collectors. :)

Star Wars just never goes out of style:p That said we've been inbetween waves for a bit now especially on CWA.

Since I've picked up Skids, Sideswipe & Sideways I guess ROTF it is though I have not hit the ROTF toys very hard yet. Might not in the long run outside of a few wanted figs.:)

Coming in late to the game, but G. I Joe 25th anniversary figures. Bought season 1 of the show on DVD and got a little nostalgic, went to Zellers and picked up Croc Master and Junkyard (the only 2 they had), we'll see where things go from there.

I've found that I really like the CW TV show (better than the movie prequels) and I like the cartoon aesthetic of the figures. I saw a bunch of the legacy figures, but I decided to pass for now since I want to focus on CW.

I haven't seen CW yet but as I said in the sightings thread I do think the Destroyer Droid looks cooler than the Legacy one from the pics I've seen. I think the action feature looks neat as well, haven't opened him yet though!

I may give it a shot after I finish watching Episode III (just finished rewatching Ep IV-VI, I-II) if I'm not tired out by then. :p

Lol it's most similar to 'Power Rangers'. Basically a live action show where the heroes transform into their suits and fight monsters. It's LIKE PR but not really, I see it more like live action anime to be honest.
