Is Wave 10 (the Power Girl wave) going to be a Wal-Mart exclusive?

Even though I've only heard rumors, is it true that the upcoming Wave 10 for DC Universe Classics (the one which will supposedly have Power Girl, Joker, and Man-Bat) is going to be another Wal-Mart exclusive?

Truthfully, I think that would really suck as Canadian Wal-Marts don't carry the line and many American collectors were complaining that many of their stores down south didn't carry the last Wal-Mart exclusive wave either (the Metallo wave).

Even when Wal-Mart carries a toy line, we never seem to get the exclusives here anyway. That was the case with Marvel Legends in the past, and Star Wars as well.

According to Toyfare Magazine #144, the DC Universe Classics Powergirl and Joker will be apart of the exclusive Wal-Mart wave 10.

Well, according to Mattel, the wave 10 line will see a worldwide release and not be exclusive to US retailers only. But that remains to be seen.

While we have the DCUC 2-packs out in Canada (http://www.actionfigurenews.ca/boards/showthread.php?t=3369), I guess we'll have to wait and see if this wave gets picked up by Walmart Canada.

I SERIOUSLY doubt Wal-Mart Canada will carry it. Considering they dropped DCUC in 2008. The only hope we have is TRU carrying it.

I tried to order a case of wave 10 through Walmart Canada, and the manager I spoke to said it wasn't even in their system to order from. To be honest though, I didn't have the DCPI or whatever, so it's still possible, but I highly doubt it. I went to great lengths to secure my set. Thankfully wave 10 seems to have been produced in more numbers than wave 5.

There is also speculation the wave 15 will be another exclusive wave, despite mattel saying wave 10 would be the last DCUC exclusive wave.

Time will tell in both cases i guess.

I wish Walmart Canada would pick up the line again.

No question there, that was one of my most favorite Wal-Mart lines and I was so disappointed, all the more so with Wave 10 and there 3 awesome Batman figures, when they decided to drop the line. :mad:

Luckily someone from TFW hooked me up with Joker, pretty much ending the line for me, until something really cool comes out. I'm not surprised Wal Mart dropped the line. Mattel has handled it horribly.
