Custom Emperor's Throne 6" Scale

[MULTIPLEX]

I literally made this out of garbage. Bubble foam is not really ideal to work with. I used the sideshow throne pictures as a reference and estimated the shape. It's made out of five core pieces glued together. I then used wood filler and many coats of plaster to fill in all the holes get the shape to my liking. I have yet to figure out the base. I'll be adding buttons and seat cushions next. Probably a matte coat too.

Hey Multiplex,

Hit up the dollar store and maybe use the base of a plastic wine glass for the base...then add some sculpting.

Looks great thus far. I'm going to have to stop being lazy and get on making the throne room diarama.

That might work. I'm almost thinking I could just make it from scratch and carve out the shape. Maybe clay or something similar.

I actually will be getting the Figuarts Death Star steps that came with their original run Darth Vader. A buddy of mine has kindly offered it to me. I thought I could see how this chair might look in that diorama. What I really like about his setup is the stars in the background. When you move, it's like the stars are moving. Pretty cool effect.
