The Clone Wars Y-Wing Starfighter Released in Canada

Thanks to a report by jacobot we now know that the Y-Wing Starfighter from The Clone Wars television series has now been released at Canadian Retail.

The sighting was made at a Walmart in Ontario.

The OT Y-Wing is my favorite star wars spaceship. So when I heard that they were making a prequels era version (glaringly omitted from the movies), I was pretty excited. Then, when I saw it, I was still excited. But as time went on, I became disenchanted with this new take on an old classic. Too much of what I loved about the OT version was covered and concealed in the PT version.

For me, that price is the final nail in the coffin on this one. $80 is about what I'd like to pay for the turbo tank, but not this.

Long story short: Pass.

Luckily, there are plenty of other good star wars toys to interest me.

$80 ??? wow Hasbro must be crazy.. the prices on vehicles are just getting way out of control...
