Got a few new things lately. Zellers has all their clearance toys on sale at 25% off so I picked up the Conquest for $14 and the Rhino for $13 after I used my club points( It was 22.50 before that). and finally got a Mauler!! Been wanting one forever.

Just saw your reply lol....that is a good deal. I've got 1 Blackhawk and it is pretty cool. Hopefully you can find one. I wish Sears hadn't stopped carrying the line.

1) DCUC Wave 19 Sandman and Lord Naga arrived just before Christmas! I am looking forward to completing the C&C S.T.R.I.P.E for this wave! The leg that came with Sandman is taller than he is, so 'ol S.T.R.I.P.E is gonna be huge!

2) Popped into Wal-Mart today just for the hell of it, and sitting there, amongst a tonne of HFTD Hubcaps, Brimstones, Backfires and Breachers, was this one, single RTS Windcharger! So, I snapped him up! :D

Picked up the Skystriker for $19.99 at Zellers Thermos and Eglinton, just look at the tag that lists "classic large joe vehicle" or something on the bottom shelf and then have them price adjust from that tag.

^ Nice! I would have used the coupon for the Skystriker or the Sentinel as well, but I don't have enough room to store or showcase these guys so I have to pass on them. :(

I still used the coupon today though. :D I found a Jungle BAT just sitting there amongst the other toys and decided to finally get it. I didn't buy the Jungle BAT figures awhile back cuz there were cooler figures that I wanted at the time. So now I have a BAT with a BFG! LOL! :D

Received several NECA Predators and the Hot Toys Superman from Marcio at Super Power Collectibles!!! SUPER FAST SHIPPING! Ordered on Thursday and received today. This is my first Hot Toys too...and probably not my last :banghead:...even the packaging is amazing:bow:

I would say a hybrid of the 2. Articulated plastic body with clothes made of real cloth or rubber. Figures like iron man are just made of plastic, but have LEDs built within them.

The draw is the detail that is put into them. Much better than any doll ;)

Picked up two of these from costco they were $350 a piece. But since they were the last two in all of Edmonton they gave me $150 off the floor model which looked really good. Anyways I've been saving up for these for about a year now so I'm super happy I finally got them! They were my holy grail and I finally got them! My only two grails gotten in the past few months! (the other one being the vintage castle grayskull complete and mint) Need to find a new one.

I'd agree with that. While I would like to see what Batman and Iron Man are like, Superman certainly is a hybrid. Is it closer to a ML or a doll though? If I had a gun to my head, I'd say at this point, due to the real cloth clothes, it does feel more like a doll. But he's a very cool doll. This is not your sister's Barbie. :clapping:

I would say that this is the perfect entrance piece for me as a first HT figure. The Donner Superman played such a big part in my childhood. Right up there with Optimus Prime, Roy Focker and Snake Eyes. Now I have the definitive versions of all four. (MP10, v2 1/60 VF-1S, POC Commando Snake Eyes, and now Christopher Reeves Superman).

Got my Wind Raider and Vigo the other day. I have to say that Wind Raider is one of the best toys I've every owned, its perfect, the detail on it is simply amazing, paint and sculpt is perfect. Looks insanely good on display with the flight stand, and its super fun to play with (had a little battle with my son). I've had many vehicles from different lines over the years and this has to be one if not the best vehicle (the only one i can think that might be better is the GI Joe vintage night raven) I've ever owned. And for the $45 it cost.. its cheap compared to the crap at retail.

As for the Vigo figure, I'm disappointed by the lack of a deamon head but I love the way he towers over the Ghostbusters. Good to have him in the collection.

Picked up Avengers Movie 3 3/4 comic series Ultimate Thor and Ultimate Hawkeye X2 each, Zellers tried to charge $12.99 for each figure but I said that the other movie figures are $9.99 so they gave them to me for $9.99 each. great looking figures but the now lack ankle , wrist, waist and upper torso articulation. Less articulation for $12.99??????? What the hell? Unless I can get the Black widow and the other specific figures I want to $9.99 or less...the figures I got today will be my last Avengers movie figures.

No, I'm not a collector at all. I've always wanted a Daredevil figure. I really wanted him in the Marvel Legends line, but since I don't see this happening anytime soon, I just went with this.

The quality issues with the MU figs are all over the place, and particularly with the mold used for the Daredevil figure.

Yeah, you need stands for those toys. I got out of MU because of quality just not being worth the $9.99 price tag here or whatever they charge these days.

Since Hasbro has breathed new life into the ML line, I'm sure Daredevil should be coming up soon.

MOTUC Demo-Man and Battleground Evil-Lyn. Love both the figures gave the Acala Skeletor head to my main Skeletor for now, but can't decide who to display Demo-Man with.

This isnt a haul but dug through some of my boxes in the basement and opened up and built the Marvel Legends Mojo Series. I forgot how bad the QC on these figures were. But have Mojo up now!

Awesome. Im a huge fan of Play arts stuff (I have all the reach figures), and Batman is just a fantastic figure. Im actually finding it intimidating to look at lol. Really capture who and what Batman is. I still cant decide on Joker...something about the face doesn't sit right with me. Harley Quinn is bought on site.

Its Play Arts Kai that I wish would get a Nintendo license. While Figma Samus Aran is going to be a great figure, I'd love her to be in Play Art size.

Ill do a full picture review soon. As well as a review on my youtube pafe ModernReviewer. I have lots of Play art reviews there.

While I am not a fan of the odd scale, I just wanted a super detailed, articulate Batman. The DCUC Batman just doesn't cut it, since I think the sculpt is pretty weak, and Revoltech Batman just came across as a failure to me after I had it on my shelf for a few weeks, so I sold it. If this turns out to be great, and they do a Catwoman from the Arkham City game, I'll probably get her too, since I like the look of their female figures. Joker doesn't impress me. I really wish in the 6" scale, someone other than Mattel would take over the DC license. The DCUC line has gotten really, really stale.

No doubt old stock. I've seen them over the past year at various TRUs in the GTA but sightings are increasingly rarer these days...thinking about it, I suppose this is the reason (and that it's DCUC) I bought it this time as I don't have any connection to the characters.

I got some Marvel (comic panels featuring Spidey, the FF, SS, Hulk, Iron Man, and a severe lack of Thor...) and DC (character logos, but no Martian Manhunter... yet Green Arrow...) pants from Walmart recently, they're both pretty great. Good find! Comic (and other novelty) pants are awesome!

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I have a few questions about those Figma toys from Japan. I really want to get that Samus action figure that is coming out.

What is a good online shop to order from?
What is the cost of shipping?
Do you need to pay customs when the item arrives?
If you preorder, do they charge you right away?

Basically any info you can provide me that will make this order go through as quickly and painlessly as possible would be so much appreciated.

I preordered mine from Amiami.

The shipping for the figure alone will probably be around $10 for SAL, I am not 100% sure on this as I've never had only a single figure shipped.

Customs depends if you are lucky or not I guess, I get dinged most of the time I have huge boxes, but sometimes they slip through as well.

You pay when the figure is ready to be shipped.

I've only been charged twice in the 3-4 years I've been importing.

For AmiAmi (best prices imo), you preorder first and then pick your shipping method. Once the item comes in you get a payment request with the shipping price included. You can also add items anytime even after you received a payment request, but you can only combine items that are within the same month. (Like if you buy 1 toy in April and 1 in May, you cannot combine those items, but you can always add 1 more April toy to your April order for example).

Yes, though he's got different hands, his belt isn't the utility belt that the other MU line Caps seem to have, and the blues are darker than the 2-pack (actually looking closer to the blue on the American flag.)

I'm def gonna pickup lightup base Cap. I've got the Klaw 2-pack that i've always wanted to open for Cap but have kept it moc cause the comic and overall packaging look so friggin fantastic. I'll def keep the hulk 181 comic pack moc as well for the same reason (when its out).

With Generations and other toylines close to being up to date or slowly being phased out in certain respects, and in anticipation of the upcoming GIJoe Retaliation Sequel due in Theatres this Summer, I have once again begun picking up the odd Joe figure.

To that end, I have recently acquired the following...

PoC Jungle Assault Blowtorch
30th Cobra Viper
30th Techno-Viper
30th Hazard-Viper (Priced at 12.99$ at the local comic shop, perhaps a bit much considering I just stumbled upon a huge re-stock of Joes at TRU with 30th figures.)

I'm looking forward to selling some things and making more spending money for more GIJoe figures, and I have plans to treat myself for my birthday with the BBTS Dreadnoks Battle Set, provided they don't sell out of stock before I can place the order sometime this month so it will arrive around my birthday next month. (Personally I find it appropriate that I'll be turning 30 and my present will be a 30th Anniversary Exclusive Dreadnok set, I've always been partial to the Dreads. Now if I can just get a Zarana to go with the set that would be a killer BDay present/haul)

Don't know how I got so lucky, but this afternoon while out grocery shopping I found the last CW figure on the shelf... And it happened to be the elusive CW42, at last I have a decently articulated Cad Bane with TODO 360, sure he doesn't have ankle joints, but at least he has knees, unlike that first mold that Hasbro loves re-packaging.

Also picked up a 25th Major Bludd for 13.99$ all in all it was a good day.

Picked up the two Marvel's Hydra Armoured Soldiers from RCSS Regent today, got them both 50% off, so basically it was BOGO since the price of both was the price of one before the 50% off.

I like the look and feel of them, if it weren't for the Hydra emblem on their helmets and shoulder they might pass for some sort of new type of Cobra Soldier.
