Okay, since there is no general hauls thread, I'll start it off here! (Mods, feel free to move to another area if appropriate.)

Online. After shipping I paid about $7.50 US for it in total, which wasn't bad, since all I wanted was the clear Hal and didn't want to pay $50 for the full set.

Kinda like Seperate ones for Star Wars, Transformers, Gi Joe, Superheroes, what not.

Thats just my personal thing and if you all want to keep a general one on the go thats fine as well.

Let me suggest that in addition to this one maybe pud333 can create one over in the Superhero Board section as well showing the same haul.

I'm just thinking that having a hauls thread in each sub-community is the way to go, so that maybe if someone is say just a fan of McFarlane Sports all they need do is check out that thread, and the hauls thread in that thread, without having to look through a lot of stuff they ight not be interested in.

I'm surprised he's not mentioned that much. He's a bit smaller than some other guys but I don't really nitpick about that unless he's puny which he's not. It shows that Hasbro can pull off some cool MLs as well, even though a slight wash could bring out HR IM's details which I might do myself during spring break next week. :)

Anyways here's my first 'major' Marvel haul. Really enjoying Hasbro's FA Captain America too! :D

Sadly I have to return the Torpedo Armor, since there's no stock I can't exchange. His right knee is badly warped (heating couldn't fix it) and also loose so he keeps falling over. That's not too bad except his shoulder pads are barely attached at all compared to my other IMs... I really liked it too so it's too bad. :(

Anyways I (finally) got a Revoltech Enki and also a MMS Light Armor Valona today. :D

I wish the blue on the Captain America IM was metallic blue like on the back of the package. The bright blue looks out of place with the metallic red. But I still like it:p I actually went to look for it and the Satellite armor, but only found a Satellite one with bad paint, so I passed on it.

Yeah, I was itching to buy something and I sort of broke down. :o Initial thoughts: Very cool, especially the nostalgia factor. I pretty much spent hours by the SFII machine in the mall in jr. high for years, so it brought back nice memories. The high price point, like all revoltechs lately, makes it tough to justify buying too many of these figures. I'll probably just buy the core figures: Ken, Chun-Li, Guile. I'll post a full review with pics in a couple of days.

DP is pretty good, him and Wolverine are my favourite 1/18th Marvel figures out right now. :)

I got the Rattrap off Craigslist, I really wanted this guy for a few years since I didn't like TM Rattrap and I'm really happy I finally got the last BW figure I want. :D

And the Dinobot is Hasbro so it's probably the lighting...can't find my tripod so I had to use flash or else the pics would blur. :(

And the Hulk goes well with MU/WO figures imo...learned from fwoosh.

How are the articulation on the Xmen 3.75"? I see that they have a lot of ball joints, which is why I was interested in them. But I wasn't sure how well they'd work, could I expect them to be as good as the 6"?

Yup, I love these 3.75" figures with some of the 6" figures that are suppose to be larger.

The articulation on the Wolverine Origins figures is excellent, but not quite as good as the marvel universe figures. Still, the joints are more stiff, unlike the MU figures which have really loose joints for the most part. The MU figures, for the most part, tend to have a couple more points of articulation (I think). I have gambit, Wolverine, etc. The Wolverine Origins yellow and blue Wolvie is my favorite Wolvie so far. He's much better than the MU X-Factor version. He's shorter for one, (about 3.5") which makes his better to scale than the MU version. (PS: Gambit kinda sucks.)

Speaking of WO: Just got back from my vacay, and I picked up Deadpool at a Walmart in Maui of all places. :eek: So I took him hiking to the volcanic craters while I was there! :D

On another note, I saw those premium WO figures with the removable jackets/clothing. Terrible. Talk about FUGLY! Hasbro should give up the removable clothing bit. Just brutal. :cool:

Thanks pud! Haha that's a sweet picture! I am surprised that you said the MU have more articulation. However, I've only played with the Wave 1 Ironman, so maybe others are better.

It really depends. Some figures like Cap. America have more articulation (eg: swivel joints in the arm and legs on top of typical elbow/wrist/knee/ankle articulation.) While others like Iron Man don't have those swivel joints. Hasbro is really experimenting now, so while WO figures tend to be more uniform in their articulation, the MU ones vary widely.

Decided to grab some duplicate Joes to open. Roadblock and Gung Ho from Outer Rim Collectibles. Also got Beachhead but that was a mistake. Supposed to get something else but since they messed up my order, they let me keep him anyway for no charge! The rest of my order is on the way. :D Gung Ho is one of the best IMO. Very pleased. Roadblock, not so much. :(

Also got DCIH Lex Luthor. One of the best head molds I've ever seen in this scale. But he looks more like Professor X than Lex.

Stuff: comes with assault rifle and hand gun that fits into a soft plastic pouch at the waist.

The bad: Everything else. I don't mind T-crotches so long as they're done well (re: Mattel). His T-crotch is limited by his waist-line, resulting in only about 20 degrees movement for his legs backwards or forwards. Plus, he's "torso tall." Not worth the money, IMO. If there's ever a half price sale, I'll pick up some Terminators, but epic fail on Playmates' part.

Yeah, the rifle handle is too small. It's like the weapon belongs with a completely different toy. The key is the other hand. Most of the weight is held by the other hand, while the butt of the gun sort of rests there between the hand and his stomach. It's pretty much the only way to hold the gun. Can't do much else with it. :mad:

Sucks that John-Conner-In-Name-Only doesn't have the likeness of Christian Bale. Unfortunately, the other human figures look like crap, though the Terminator figs are cool.

Hiss Tank is exactly like the original, except with a few modifications to fit the new 25th ann. figures. It's cool, and worth getting. However, there are tonnes of these at my local TRU so I am waiting for another price drop on them. I find the current price too expensive. bottom line: they're worth it if a bit cheaper.

Nice haul Icetron! I actually was about to pick up one of those Animated Spidey's last week at Walmart, forgot there was a sale at TRU, maybe I will go check it out next week. I really like the two suited spidey's in that series, the armor looks good and the articulation doesn't look bad either.

Yeah, I seriously had a touch choice deciding which one to get. I decided to pick the one I got since he has articulation comparable to MLs. :D I would ha ve gotten the Black Suit but the mold hasn't changed at all.

I compared them, and the suited ones (with the armors) looked really nice...but I'm not sure if they're slightly smaller to accomodate the armors or not. If you get some then let me know what you think. :)

PS: I like the new tree-saving packaging...easier to carry back home and easier for me to hang onto the packaging longer lol. ;)

Haha I like your hauls too. :p I got the figma from HLJ, it came last week but I was busy studying so I couldn't get it from the post office till today.

She's probably the best figma I own in terms of posability, her joints are very fluid and due to the sculpt they were able to give her a really good range of movement. Her accessories are really neat too and come from the show, I haven't tried equipping her yet though.

Yeah she is a robot afterall (an android I think? :) I only watched the show after I preordered her, the episodes are only 2 minutes each. ;) I really like her design, glad I got her instead of cancelling my preorder.

Unfortunately not, they aren't even lightpiped. :( The eyes are just transparent plastic. I've seen pics of some mods done by people in Japan where they installed LEDs in the head.

The Nendoroid version does have LEDs for the eyes though, officially.
