The Green Arrow figure is one of my favorites. The sculpt on his hoodie is awesome, as is the detail on his face, etc. It's a really soft plastic that almost feels rubbery, but still blends in nicely with the whole figure. A lot of the DCIH line has reused body parts, but he's pretty much all original.

Man i really wish this line was out on Canadian retail. Between the comic shops and ebay im spending almost triple the price! Oh well. I love the DC line!

JLU figures are the same size as previous JLU figures.

JLU is coming back to Canadian retail this Spring. Mattel said they will be packed differently from the Target waves. They will have more core Justice Leaguers per case. So that means less new, obscure figures for us. They did not say which retailer(s) will carry it here, though.

Yeah he's really cool. It bares the question as to why Joker was too scary for kids but this detailed half-burnt man isn't.

As for the Movie Masters, I can't wait either. I just hope we keep getting them here in Canada.

Nah, they were good for the most part. Just minor paint fading on Batman's boots and Superman's right arm was pretty stiff (like almost impossible to move, but it's loosened now). I still don't know what to think about these figs. Debating whether I should get more.

This is what's fun about joining the game late. You end up not having to wait and just get a buttload of figures all at once. Sometimes it can be a bit like overload though. My head nearly burst when I did that with DCIH. Still debating if my brain can handle me jumping into DCUC

It all started with a bit of extra cash at the Action Figure Expo. Now the collection is 10 on the shelf, 19 on the way, and another 10-11 planned to buy in my head!

I love them!

Never thought I'd start with these: I'm kicking myself for all the times I had them in my hands before at TRU and never picked one up. But then I wouldn't get that awesome fun you're talking about getting a whole crap-load at once!

Take the plunge pud!

In fact, I love them so much, I sold off most of my remaining, short-list-I-love-them-so-got-me-back-into-collecting-transformers Binaltech/Alternators to fund this super-hero-spending-spree!

He looks pretty cool, but doesn't fit into my skewed logic to keep me from buying them all! :D I love Batman Beyond though, so if you can find one, grab it. These figs are all kinds of kick-ass!

Just grabbed a Hawkman, Red Tornado, and a Black Adam.

I've got another Black Canary on hold for the leg mod and better paint apps. I'm wondering too though, if anyone can confirm if Power Girl has the full hip articulation. If so, she may be a better candidate for the leg swap.

I also found out that Mattel took the articulation away from Black Canary as they found the fish-nets were tearing otherwise. Seems silly for a martial artist to have that articulation taken away, but oh well, here's to real fish-nets.

True enough, just depends on what your taste is. I've seen rumors of an IH Harley Quinn mostly on messgage boards and a few toy sites, they're all rumors at this point and is supposed to be, should the rumor prove true, end up released some time early in 2010.

It sounds like an attack per se, but not at you. That'll be one epic toy battle though. Too bad the TF's aren't more in scale with the 3-3/4" figs for added artillery.

I got a DCUC Hawkgirl and DCIH Powergirl from a secret santa program. This would be my first MOSC DCUC figure. Gotta say the packaging is kinda neat but also kinda plain, I don't mind since I open my stuff up anyways though. :)

Hawkgirl is awesome...wings are great. Much better than my other DCUC figures (Wonder Woman and Artemis). My fav figure thus far. I will probably look for Ares and Batman Beyond soon. :D

No accessories, which is my sole gripe with this figure, but great articulation, a beautiful sculpt and good paint make this a dead on representation of the PA and Animated Series Batman on the whole I'd say! :D :cool: One of my personal favorites in my collection! ;)

I actually had someone try to grab the last set out of my hand. This guy comes up from behind and tries to pin my arm down and reaches over my shoulder and says: "Should've been faster." Well, I throw my weight back (I used to box in high school) and ram the guy into the shelves behind us and an employee sees what the guy tries to do and takes me to the front of the store and lets me cut to the front of a massive line up that almost goes out the door and allows me to pay. He appologizes and starts telling the cashier what happened and they both appologize and tell me to enjoy the rest of the evening!!! :D An interesting day or what?!!? :p

She is...I almost tossed out the packaging before I noticed she came with a figure stand. She's just gorgeous, the wing design is very nice imo. Her ab joint is floppy but hasn't really caused much inconvenience...just glad to have one. :)

Grabbed a Guardian fig and got a free Chemo torso (extra bubbly), so I got to comlete Chemo today! Totally wasn't expecting that.

He's huge! He doesn't even fit on my shelf without bending forward.

I don't know much about Guardian, and he's pretty simply, but i like him (and he was pretty much free too, so no complaints!).

I also have about $125 bucks in trade value at Silver Snail so I'm waiting for wave 12 so I can get them for free too! I love recycling toy budget!

Nice score pud! I've seen some people cut the suit part off the coat for added articulation. It looks pretty good. I'm very seriously considering a second to try it out.

Also saw a very cool Commissioner Gordon, out of the Question with coat cut out and painted, with the Hush series Gordon head. It was brilliant.

He is. I really love the DCIH Question, but this just blows it out of the water.

As for cutting the suit part off the coat, I thought about it, but I'm so crappy with that kind of work, and I can't afford to buy him again, so I think I'll just leave it as is. Personally, he doesn't need a heck of a lot more articulation than what he already has. Yeah, I'd like more, but he looks pretty dynamic as is.

Long story, but here goes:

Called on Dec 29th to find out why my Nov 20 order hadn't arrived yet (after weeks of trying to figure out the website of the Canadian shipping company Mattel told me had my stuff. Finally called that company, who told me Mattel had given me the wrong info, gave me another number for the right company, which didn't work, had to look up a third number as the correct shipping company had been bought by a different shipping company - confused yet? :D).

Was told they'd get back to me in 72 hrs. Didn't happen. I called a couple more times, and sent a couple of emails to find out where my order was. Escalation team contacted me on Jan. 5 saying there was no way to track my package and that if I had not received it yet, they would either refund me or try to resend the order. I emailed that I would like a refund. Then changed my mind and emailed again about trying to resend the figs.

Meanwhile, I got a delivery notice from a magical post-man who doesn't leave footprints in the snow (I was waiting for him all day, never heard a knock, no footprints in the snow that had been falling all day, yet there was the notice). I went to the post office, and there were my CoF sets. So I thought about just letting it slide, but my conscience got the better of me, and I emailed Matty a third time, telling them I got them and that no refund or resend was necessary. I did ask for discounted/free UPS shipping on my next order though.

Next day, I get notification that my refund is being processed (reply to first email).

Later that day, get a reply to my second email, saying that my refund is being processed, but if I want to re-order to product, to email with my phone number and a good time to call.

Next day, I get the response to my final email in which I explained that I received my order, and it tells my that my refund has been processed, expect it in 5-7 days.

Day or two ago, my refund shows up on my credit card.

Gave the money right back to Matty for the Justice in the Jungle set and 4 packs of flight stands, and UPS international shipping so I can track it this time.

I am looking everywhere for that piece! I haven't seen it at the Toys R Us in my area yet. I love, from the photos I've seen, everything about this figure. :D The coloration is really nice! And even though it's just a repaint of Detective Batman from DCUC Wave 1, it's still a nice looking piece. But, perhaps I simply feel this way because I am such a Batman Nut! :p You're lucky, Icetron! I'd be lying if I said I wasn't jealous! :)

I picked one of the wave 11 Batmans when I got my set. It's an awesome fig. Congrats on the near-flawless paint apps. Mine's pretty good as well. I do want to make a cloth cape for him, and perhaps take off the yellow symbol and get a label made of the classic black symbol.

I'm also going to grab the Bats and Robin 2-pack when they come out, so's I can have another Bats with the classic black symbol and a classic Tim Drake. Stoked!

It seems that TRUs are doing inventory now so probably no real new stock right now, but they'll be getting stuff in eventually. The DCUCs are selling pretty well in my area so it's likely they'll get sent more. :)

Same for the TLC SW stuff, they tend to get huge chunks at a time.

Yeah. As an adult collector, gimmicks bother me in new toys, but I have a fondness for the super punch action. I remember as a kid I loved it. I guess kids love gimmicks which is why you still see so many in toys these days. I handed my nephew one of the guns for my Clone Wars figures and he loved the shooting missile. He couldn't give two shits about the figure itself.

Got my Justice in the Jungle set and my flight stands the other day. Amazing that $26 dollars saves you five-and-a-half weeks worth of shipping. Paid Matty for the UPS international, and the order got here in four days.

Return it. That's the first one I've heard breaking when it comes to the newer releases. Interesting. anway, your local TRU should be restocking with that wave. I went to TRU today and there were three of him. When you get your replacement, move the joints carefully first. Maybe even use a x-acto knife at the joint to help loosen it.

Green Arrow rocks. He comes with two separate arrows that can clip into the bow, as well as a removable string on it. Very cool. I'm actually impressed at the condition I got these in, considering they're over 25 yrs old. Some of them are mint, so they must have been from a collector.

Yeah man. They're all from the same Super Powers line. What I love about the line is that they didn't reuse body parts so you don't get the franken-toys you see these days with reused molds.

I actually haven't ever seen a GL in the wild. There was a GL DVD that came out a little while back that could be found at Best Buy with the new body sculpt. But I've never seen that one either.

That's a solid pack. Black Canary is lame like all the other female figures, but Green Arrow is awesome. Now that I recall, I did see this pack at TRU and Zellers.

Got Kalibak's left leg in the mail today. He is complete! Also got wave 12, but could only open Spectre and Doc Midnight. They're awesome! Have to wait for the rest 'til my birthday in a couple of weeks. Oh, and also scored a complete Giganta off a Fwoosher for an awesome price, and she's on her way, but I will have to wait until the b-day to open her as well.

Dude, you have no idea how hard it is to not open them. I frequently take them out and stare at them longingly. I know, however, that if I open them early, my wife'll kick my ass! I'd need that Green Lantern ring for sure. I'm not scared of her, as it were, but I have a healthy respect for her ability to try and kick my ass (I used to teach her Kung-Fu....although, I didn't teach her everything :D).

Very Sweet! I am still trying to decide who to get next. I am torn between Green Arrow, Blue Beetle (Ted Kord), John Stewart, Joker and Dr. Fate.
