Okay, this seller is selling an X-Men Origins Deadpool figure, and the bidding is silly. I just don't get it. It's a $10 figure, that will most likely be widely available at mass retail soon, since the movie will be coming out and you know there will be a big marketing push by Hasbro.

So why bid so much over the actual value of the figure? Just so you can have it a few months early? I don't get it.

Here's the auction. (http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?&customid=afnews&toolid=10001&campid=5336194956&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.com%2FMARVEL-legends-Comics-WOLVERINE-X-MEN-ORIGINS-Deadpool_W0QQitemZ230322154297QQcmdZViewItemQQptZL H_DefaultDomain_0%3Fhash%3Ditem230322154297%26_trk sid%3Dp3911.c0.m14%26_trkparms%3D72%253A1205%257C6 6%253A2%257C65%253A12%257C39%253A1%257C240%253A131 8)

What I want to know is, who are these people that bid like this? And how can I get a job like them, cause it is clear they have more money than they know what to do with. I mean, I want this figure too, but I'll wait until mass retail. Obviously.

Some people just have to have it first.

I can't help it... I *heart* Ryan Reynolds.

Honestly, like SMegs said... Some people just have to have it first and are willing to pay any price to get it.

To each their own.

That sucks to the winner because after watching HULK vs Wolverine I want my deadpool figure to talk!!!! Even if its from origin line.

yeah its insane how much some people will fork over for a figure a couple months before being released. Like the Marvel Universe Figures, those were going for 60$ and then they popped up earlier this month.

I saw a photo gallery of this figure and while it looks okay, the Toybiz ML one is vastly superior IMO.

Yeah, at best, it looks okay. The oversized sword scabbards and giganto sai make him look pretty goofy. Kinda tough to do a decent scabbard at this scale, i think.

Think you can still get that much for him? I saw the other day and tempted to get it now :P

Seconded. Give it a few weeks, and I'm sure they'll start warming pegs.
