Damn. When these were first re-released, I thought about picking up He-man. Was never a huge fan of this line, I only had a couple figures as a kid, but I always watched the cartoon. Sort of regret not picking up He-man. He's way too expensive now on the secondary market. The battle one does nothing for me. But I might have to pick it up cause Battlecat looks awesome... Is Battlecat being released on the 15th next month?

My guess is because of their production issues and chances of not producing enough to actually go on sale on the site after filling the pre-orders.

Hopefully they implement the "All-In" subscription next year so I dont have to fight the crowds except for the re-issues I will need.

Is this your first time ordering with Matty? or do you have a subscription? Shipments from them to Canada using the cheap shipping used to take between 4-6 weeks. But the past 3 months its only been about 2 weeks time.

So the moral of the story is with Mattt's track record you will get your package eventually... if its not to you within 5-6 weeks I would call them and let them know.

I end up having to pay HST for my figures. I'll have to go to the CBSA office tomorrow to ask about this. We only pay 5% GST for online shopping and the 12% HST takes place after July 1st.

Mattel isn't willing to pay for better service from digital river, apparently they use DR's most basic service package. According to some internets sleuths.

I don't really blame Mattel, sure the service is crap.. they are contractually obligated to stay with digital river (probably through 2016, when the line is supposed to run till). But we have to remember that this line doesn't have a big budget at all and is small potatoes in terms of their overall business. No retail means not a big money maker even at $20 per figure. So i can see why they have gone cheap with DR.

I understand why Mattel is standing by Digital River. DR is the only service they found that provides international shipping and for that I respect that. Sometimes I really want something from Hasbro Toy Shop but I can't get them to ship to Canada.

I'm mostly not pleased with how Mattel is handling their products. I really see no respect for MOTUC. Despite many fans complain that they can't get to the computer at noon because they are at work, Mattel still choose to have one sale on the 15th noon and that's it. I would have thought they could have a noon sale and evening sale to smooth up the process. Again it's more about their strategy than DR's server that I don't like.

I read the sale is still going to happen on the 15th but your order will be delayed if you buy Demo-man or BGEL. So if you buy either of them as well as other things, your whole order will be delayed. If you dont buy them then your order will ship normally. I plan on ordering a wind-raider and a Vigo. Then wait until mid january to get my Demo-man/BGEL sub figures.

I'm on the same boat as you. At this point, i'm really not looking forward to next months MOTUC figs and the voltron subs come up, it'll be pricey

I'm glad i didnt get the Voltron sub, I was mulling it over but glad i didnt take the leap. It was just too pricey along with the MOTUC and the 30th Sub. If the voltron Cats go on sale next year I might pick them up then. All these different lines are starting to add up though.

Tell me about it but what clinched me on the voltron sub was the size of him. Had to cut back on the revoltechs to afford the subs. Hopfully that'll be all to be cut.

Just got my order in for Venkeman w/taxi ghost. no issues at all. I have a feeling all this months figs will be available for awhile.
