I have to say, I have been let down by most of season 2. Hopefully season 3 is better.

I don't think the Mando story-arc was weak, just really over-hyped. Stand-alone it was great, but they kept advertising it as some big epic.

Now the Geonosis arc, THAT was epic.

So lets have everyone be able to fight the Jedi with lightsabers "because its awesome" then..

Lightsaber technique a combination of sword fighting and applying use of the Force. A highly trained non-Force user shouldn't be able to duel the Jedi in such a manner because they don't have the abilities that a Jedi does.

What would be cool to me is if we saw a lightsaber duel between Aurra Sing and someone, or Grievous or Asajj or Dooku - the characters that actually are experts with lightsabers.

We almost never see them dueling any Jedi, instead we get Jedi vs Hondo, Pre Vizsla and now Bane.

Next we'll have Ziro vs Obi-Wan in a lightsaber duel.:p

Take the fight between Obi-Wan and the unnamed Death Watch Mandalorian from last season, that worked for me because he nullified Obi-Wan's lightsaber, though still eventually fell to Obi-Wan's skills.

If that Mando had beaten Obi-Wan I would have been fine with it because he would have done so using his own skill set, abilities and tricks that Obi-Wan doesn't have.

I'd just like to see TCW creative team be creative while being true to the established universe. Sure highly trained individuals can beat the Jedi, but they shouldn't be able to do it by randomly picking up a lightsaber and cutting down a Jedi with it.

Maybe we'll get lucky and see some Mando's take it to some Jedi in the coming season. We all know Mandos can kill Jedi, but like Robimus said, with their own unique skills.

Cad Bane isn't everybody. He's already highly skilled and better than any Jedi. It's just a cartoon, dude. We're running out of characters who can bring it to a lightsaber fight. I've seen Ventress fight everybody. The only Lightsabre fight that would be awesome is Grievous vs. Anakin, and that can't happen because of some stupid throwaway line from RotS.

Don't talk to me like I'm an idiot just because I want this show to be entertaining for once.
