Mattel’s “Ghostbusters” collectible line debuts with 12-inch figures in June 2009, and will be available exclusively at MattyCollector.com. Each figure will feature window box packaging and include authentic Ghostbuster equipment unique to each character. For the first time, Mattel’s line will include talent likeness of Egon Spengler, Ray Stantz, Peter Venkman and Winston Zeddemore.

Mattel will also create characters and ghosts from the classic animated series, “The Real Ghostbusters,” to go along with the classic “Ghostbusters” film.

This cool be really neat. I am not a big fan of the 12", but I would love a set of 6", detailed figures.

I'd be interested in 6 inch figures, but 12 inch are an easy pass for me. I've never been interested in that scale.

Agreed! Although I'm not crazy about 12 inch stuff, so I'll make due with my six inches... that sounds so wrong doesn't it?

I am. I have Ray and Egon, with Winston on the way. These figures look stunning. The amount of detail on their Proton Packs has been paid attention to. Very worth the purchase.

I totally agree with that. There are a few things that are still bugging me (proton pack not big enough, Ray's head...) But hey, I waited over 20 years to get those movie accurate versions, so I'm very happy with them.

Anybody else think it's taking too much time for their GB figure to get in the mail? Mine been shippied a month ago exactly...
