does the roc/poc cobra commander look really villanious

just wondering, i know alot of people didn't like the way he looked but according to my family they think his new looks more like villain, also i'm looking for a futuristic look for my gi joe fan comic that features the joes in the future

I think the ROC CC looks ridiculous. But the new one looks badass. The vibrant red used on his chest armor, and his new silver mask - it really does make him look like a villain. The ROC CC looked like someone splooged on him.
