Just in time for the Holiday season ToysRus Canada has opened a number of TOYS R US EXPRESS locations across the nation. While many of these locations are just open for the Christmas shopping rush, the more successful stores will remain open year round. Check out the list of stores below (http://www.actionfigurenews.ca/boards/showthread.php?p=23744#post23744) and support the location in your area for an additional toy hunting destination. Since these stores carry smaller amounts of stock expect them to receive faster replenishes of newer action figures and collectibles as our favorite toy lines sell.

There 3 here in Edmonton, well done TRU. One's even in West Ed. which is a fair amount closer to me than my regular TRU

I didn't notice Joe toys at the one in Winnipeg either, though they did have Transformers, Star Wars, DC and Marvel stuff that I remember.

It looks like the Brentwood Mall TRU Express shut down recently. :( Going to miss it. It was the closest TRU to me that carried the newer waves of Iron Man 2 figures.

TRU will be opening a new TRU Express in Lougheed Mall! :) It will be located a few stores down from Walmart!

I wonder how this will affect prices of action figures.

Note: If anybody wants to work there, there is a flyer (with contact information) posted on the empty storefront window looking for people to work at that location.

I don't see how you could. I was just at the that I know about in Halifax. As far as action figure go there is nothing there.

You need to talk with the people that work there about getting in more product like Star Wars and Transformers. It sells.

I buy trucks and dolls there for the little kids in my life more than for myself.

Brentwood Mall TRU Express opened up again!

This time around the selection isn't that great. It's pretty much a larger version of the Lougheed Mall TRU Express just with more of the same old products! :doh:

I've had some success finding new items at the one in Winnipeg as well, but yeah overall they have very limited shelf space.

Found out that the TRU Express at Lougheed Mall will be shutting down come Jan. 4 or so. I was hoping that it would remain open like some of the other ones. Sad to see it go. :(
