That RC is awesome. Always wanted something like that. I bought my nephew a remote controlled car for the first time for Christmas. The kid looks at it, chucks the remote away and plays with the car. When I showed him how it worked, he kept saying, "No remote! No remote!" He refused to even touch it. Honestly, I think the kid has asperger's syndrome.

Yeah that`s my biggest problem. I`ve had to put my DCUC in storage which make`s me a little sad. But I`m renting, so when I get a house, my basement (at least thats what my GF said I could have) will be a huge display room :raisetheroof:

Well, I only have an 8 x 9 room for my toys, so I don't have much space at all. That's why I decided to stop collecting certain lines. I am in the processess of going through and deciding how to sell all my MU and DCUC. I've already started to list all my MOSC/MISB SDCC stuff to get rid of it. My loose stuff will eventually make its way on here or on ebay. There were some hard decisions, but I figured they had to be made. I'm the kind of guy that just has to quit everything cold turkey. Just get rid of those toys. That's how I got out of SW Clone Wars: sold about 90% of them to some English dude on TFW2005 for a steal. I figure that's how I'll sell my MU: whole lot for like $50 or something. I just need it gone. I can't be bothered to sell these piecemeal and price individual figures like that. Too busy.

Just going to collect four lines now instead of seven. So that should help. Until I run out of room again. :rofl: GF has been talking about kids, so eventually I will lose that room too. So I dunno.

Jeebus how many of those did hasbro make? That's all I see these days: pegs flooded with DOTM. Meanwhile there is nothing else other than Star Wars. That's partly why I'm so jaded on N. American toys these days. I remember when I was a kid you could find pegs and pegs of various lines in healthy quantities. These days toy stores won't carry anything without a major tv or movie push. And on top of that the quality gets worse and prices go higher.

The only Japanese toys I regret not buying right away when I first want it, are the Macross ones. They make such a limited quantity sometimes. Biggest regret: balking at paying $50 for the super deformed VF-25F toy. At the time, I was like, "$50 for a 5 inch valkyrie? Whatever." But now I'm like, "WTF? $300 for a 5 inch Valkyrie? FML." The Macross Frontier valkyrie I just preordered sold out within a few hours of the preorders coming online. So yeah, that's the only thing I would regret. Figmas and Revoltech aren't that big of a deal.

Biggest single order in terms of $$$ to date. My gf is gonna kill me, but she should calm down once I tell her that most of this cost was covered by money made from all the toys I've sold over the past week. Once my ebay sales end, I'll have covered at least 75% (this is if they end based on current highest bid, which if they go higher, which I suspect, I should be able to cover 90% of my new purchase cost). Coupled with the fact that 2/3rds of my closet is now emptied of MOC/MISB toys, she should be cool with it.

I got a quarterly bonus that's usually generous and my gf also works, so all that money is just extra for us. But I'm trying to cut back. I really am. Figmas are awesome. Be careful though, because they can be fragile at times. Even though it seems like you can really push the articulation to the extremes, don't. Or else you risk breakage or scuffs on the materials when something like the upper thigh rubs up against the hips, etc. They're made of a soft rubbery plastic, so be gentle. They're no where near as durable as, let's say, a ML or DCUC, or even a GI Joe. Definitely strictly an adult collectible.

But Figmas are AWESOME.

Yeah, they're actually pretty strict on that. I know someone who had their account banned for trying to order more.

At least they allow more than one. They only allow one on other items. Still debating on whether I want to buy another to give as a gift.

I've never owned a Neca figure so I can't attest to their quality, but the Figma Robocop is just badass. I love that thing. I wish it were a little bigger so it could square off with my Revelotech Iron Man, but it's still very cool.

the GIJCC is turning out to be terrible in my opinion, by delaying it they have completely lost any momentum from the figure reveals. And i can imagine many people who were on the fence have completely jumped off. Personally I was on the fence and just waiting for pricing, but assuming the pricing + Shipping are going to be as much as MOTUC I decided against getting it even before i had to oppotunity to order. I think i would have gone all in with it right after the reveals but I've now lost interest and moved that money over to DBZ figuarts.

Yeah, they really fubar'd the launch. They shouldn't have said anything until nearly everything was done. Total amateur hour over there. I was so excited about it, but like you, I am thinking the money is better served elsewhere.
