So with the release of the new show and of course the toy line coming in September. (I believe) Has anyone seen any episodes yet? Any comments, i dont want to play spoiler but i haven't heard of any Canadian stations picking it up.

Anyways the characters story lines I think are fantastic, and to see Grune, and lynx-o in the first episode give hope to more retro TC characters returning. Anyways, so who has been watching?

I've seen all 3 episodes thus far, great show with continuity! I'm a huge 200X MOTU fan and I would say the production value is on par if yet not better. I understand it's aimed at kids but I feel it's quite modern and a little dark at times which is great for us "older" folk ;)

I've only watched the first two episodes so far but from what I've seen so far it's really well done. I kinda wish all 80's cartoons could be re-done so well.

I just watched up to episode 3 and I have to say it is pretty cool.
I wasn't born when the original was made so I can't really compare them. But it's good to see it doing well. Hope it's not gonna get canceled like that Gi.Joe cartoon

The series FINALLY premiered on Teletoon this past weekend and I hope it continues which I guess is good since the Toys are finally hitting Discounting Canadian retail...better late than never...it is a good reboot IMO.

no, the show is actually cancelled in the USA. Season 1 is all there is. 26 whole episodes of thundercats is all we are going to get out of this reboot. The Toyline has been cancelled as well. They will show all 26 episodes on teletoon but it sucks that now that we finally get it and there is no future for the show...I wonder if teletoon knew that when they bought the rights to air it.

It's too bad, this was a decent show, maybe the writing was too adult for the kids? Or maybe there just is too many other things kids are already into.

Yeah, the story telling in the first two episodes was excellent. A lot of depth and nuance. I'll definitly keep watching, or buy the DVD when it hits.
