The 8th Annual Canadian Action Figure Expo (http://www.actionfigureexpo.com/) will be October 30th, 2011 at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel - Toronto Airport 655 Dixon Road (http://maps.google.ca/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=655+Dixon+Road,+Toronto,+ON), Toronto, Ontario.

The show features a huge selection of vintage 80s toys and all the latest releases from today such as Super Heroes (Marvel, DC etc), Transformers (vintage and Japanese imports), Star Wars (new and vintage), GIJoe (vintage and modern), Wrestling, Masters of the Universe and tons of other Action Figures and collectibles. I went to the July 31st one and thought it was absolutly awesome. Tons of actions figures, both vintage and new. Great stuff!

There are 3 related events a year. The Collectible Toy Expo (http://www.collectibleexpo.com/) in the spring, the 80s Toy Expo (http://www.80stoyexpo.com/) in the summer, and the Action Figure Expo in the fall.

Have any of you guys seen the following lose items at this expo;

Transformers - sticker books
He-Man - Mini comics (they came with the toys in the 80's)
Rare and or vintage items (not toys) from any 80's action figure line..such as the various He-Man stuff that was to be found back then, magazines and so forth?

I was at TFCON last year and mostly seen tons of MITB 80's action figures..I just started collecting and just started as in a few toys so far.

I have all of my toys from the 80's in boxes so I'm hesitant to pay these crazy prices I see online and sometimes at expos..I probably will start buying in the box, especially stuff from the 80's..but for now I'm sticking to what I bought back in the day : )

You might want to try more of a nostalgia type show instead of a strictly toy show for more of the memorabilia.

As for toys the 3 toys shows in the spring, summer and fall can't be beat for selection.

These sorts of things are carried by the vendors, sometimes you need to ask the dealers though as they might not have them easy to see.

I'm going to be on the lookout for ThunderCats and the some of the harder to find Pursuit of Cobra figures.

I hope there will be Thundercats 2011 figures since I've been having a really hard time finding them in Canada so far.

Plus if you're a dealer and have M.U.S.C.L.E. figures please bring them. Last time I went their where barely any since nobody remembered them
