Hi there!

I’m from Germany and my sister’s visiting a friend in Regina, Saskatchewan in a few months.
So I thought she could buy some WWE figures there, because the assortment here isn’t that good…
Can you tell me if the figure assortment in Canada is up-to-date, or even similar to the U.S.?
In which stores should she watch out for Mattel figures?
How much are the figures there, especially the basic and elite series?

Thanks, bye!

Ask her to visit Toys Toys Toys if they have any over there.

Well, Google says there are only some in Toronto...
But I'll ask her, if she visits Toronto, too.

What about my other questions, there are some more.

We are always late when it comes to WWE figures, best assortment I've seen like I've stated is Toys Toys Toys. Toys R Us has just recently gotten Legends wave with Warrior, Demolitions, Mr. Wonderful, HBJ.

You will only see CM Punk, Batista, Mark Henry, etc. for elites in TRU. You may check Winners also for older elite waves such as John Cena, Triple H and others.

Prices in TRU are $22.99 CDN each.

Walmart has figures as well, not sure if the assortments are current or not but I believe they were on sale the last time I was there.

Okay, thanks! I've browsed the board and have found some other stores that offer some figures.

The most recent Mattel WWE figures at Walmart are the likes of Christian, Evan Bourne, Maryse and some I can't remember.

They also had the 2 packs with Jericho and Ricky the Dragon Steamboat before X-Mas.

Zellers retailers(a big box store similar to Walmart) has had quite a few of the legends assortments from Mattel featuring George the Animal steele, Mr Wonderful, The Ultimate Warrior, Demolition and more.

One other store to check out that they likely have in Regina is a discount retailer called Winners. I seem to recall them having the last D-X wave at a discount.

Unfortunatly Regina isn't big enough to host a lot of collectible stores like Toys, Toys, Toys. I know there is a store called Phoenix Comics nestled in a residential area, but I don't recall ever seeing any wrestling stuff there.(of course I haven't been there in seceral years)

Of course Regina has one Toys"R"us store as well so that should be worth a look.

Good luck.

Thank you so much!

Christian and Maryse are on my wish list, so that's okay!!

Zellers has been Kmart, right? Then it's worth a look, I think...
Unfortunately I'm not interested in the Legends, cause I'm a WWE fan since last year.

I've noted Winners, too, yes... And I noted the Real Canadian Superstore and London Drugs.

I'd be happy if my sisters finds at least one figure. :)

Superstore will be tougher. I don't recall them selling WWE figures, though they do sell toys in general.

Zellers is like K-Mart but not affiliated. They should check one out if they see one. :)

Yeah, I agree with Robimus on Superstore. It is a bit tougher to track down figures there. Some Superstores may carry WWE figures, but you will only see older WWE Basic series or Pay Per View series figures there. I wouldn't bank on seeing any new stuff there.

This is what I've seen at retail before Christmas:

Walmart: WWE Basic 2-packs Series 5, WWE Basic Series 8, and WWE 3-packs(Walmart Exclusive?).

London Drugs: WWE Basic Series 8
Only some London Drugs has this wave.

TRU: WWE Elite Series 7 (DX wave)
It is going to be tough to find this wave. This wave flew off the pegs as soon as it came in. It was the first Canadian wave that had all the figures.

Winners: WWE Elite Series 7 & 8
I believe most Winners may have gotten in Series 7. Only a few has Series 8 and most of these may have been snapped up due to the price point and the Holiday Season.

I also was at the Real Canadian Superstore they had the WWE basic 2 packs and I purchased the Hart Dynasty from series 4 and Ricky "the Dragon" Steamboat vs Chris Jericho from series 5 for $19.99 each plus there was no tax today.

Well, that's what I found! :)

Thanks for your sightings, Gremlin, hope they'll get something knew 'til March!

I "Evolution" a store, too?

Mhm, okay.

I'll ask here in this thread again, if you got something new, when it's time for my sister lo leave.

Thanks to all of you!

Hi again!

My sister's leaving next week - did anything interesting hit retail?

Nothing much. The new WWE Flexforce Lightning figures have shown up at Walmart. TRU should have their TRU WWE exclusive figures: WWE Best of Pay Per View Figures (Build a WWE Interview Set series). I've only seen John Cena and Rey Mysterio from that series at TRU.
