Any indication on pricing?

Early prices are around $280, but that's just what I read from one source.

We'll see when stores have him up for PO. but I expect around there considering HT latest prices

A series of Diecast collectibles is coming soon! Stay tuned!
found on HT FB page this morning.

I may be inclined to get a new MK III, but no way am I buying new stuff all over again. And being diecast metal only means the price these bad boys will jump north of $300

Managed to finish my display yesterday! All I need now is to figure out what to do for lighting.

Scribing the plexiglass was a pain! I dropped the magazine rack lower so I wouldn't have to make extra cuts for the side panels...or so I thought. Was off by maybe 3/4". All that aside, I had fun doing this project.

CTO15, I'm not sure how far you are into yours, but have you considered cutting out a section of the MDF base to give the Hulk a bit more clearance space? You could make it so that he's standing in a crater and paint and distress cardboard to match the colour of the base.

looks good man!

I haven't done much. I will once I get Hulk. That way I can the proper heights.

I have lowered the rack, but that's about it

Thanks man. I can't wait to see your Avengers Assembled. Will you be doing a dio?

I was going to phone around to have the glass cut. But when I bought the acrylic glass, it was pretty thin. Scribing it was actually pretty easy as long as you have a long straight edge and a couple of clamps.

I think I'm gonna put DX-11 Joker in there using the interrogation backdrop along with the DX-12.

grrr...having a hard time tracking down a decently priced DX12

i think im just about ready to give up on it, its been 3 weeks of dealing with out of stocks and sellers wanting a $50 overhead of retail on an open box or displayed piece.

this is where i start to hate collecting HT's

Sideshow has it on backorder, to be shipped in February. You could just place an order with them.

yah, i spotted this when i started my initial search for the figure after i realized i missed it. that's what im probably going to end up doing regardless of my search to find a local seller, though every time i have placed a back order with them ive been wait listed with nothing to ever come from it :(

bbts also has it in stock but at $340 before shipping there is no way in hell im biting on that

Cmdstore has it for $315.95 no including shipping. But shipping + provincial sales tax might make it more pricey though.

yah, $400 with taxes and shipping. the highest im willing to go really is around $350 if it comes to it. i might as well spend and extra $80 and get iron monger at that price point.

EDIT:
HA! sideshow must have heard me. the back order just went to in stock. ordered and done!

Well, that was much ado about nothing! :p Well done, man. It's a cool toy, but not more than retail cool, ya know? ;)

defiantly. i missed out on the DX02 so this was an essential figure for me. i was literally about to just stop caring when i posted and move on after trying to find a reasonably priced one everyday for three weeks

i use to be able to just go with it but now i just cant bare to pay some of the inflated prices going around on figures still available and barley out for more then a few months.

most places literally want $100 over retail.

OH WELL! i got it no more aggravation for me! :D
that will be the last time i space out and miss a preorder :o

We know that many fans have been awaiting the Mark XLII collectible for long, so Hot Toys is now thrilled to announce our brand-new Power Pose Series (PPS) and the armor of the Mark XLII collectible will be activated soon!

The Mark XLII PPS is coming very soon! Stay tuned!

This confirms their die-cast series as pretty much 2.0's of previous suits.

Silly questions,

Im thinking of getting the Bat-suit case when it comes out (Hot toys or that custom one I saw on the sideshow forum)... I need to buy my own 1/6 batman right?

Also, since sideshow has it stock, i wanna bite before it goes away for good. They say it requires delivery signature. If im not home, what do they do? will it get dropped off at the nearest postal for me to pick up or is it delivered by a courier who are usually difficult to follow up on.

Thanks a lot guys!

For the Bat case from TDKR

- the custom one on sideshow forum does NOT include the Batsuit, so you will have to buy one. Mine is suppose to ship next week, I can't wait!!!
- Hot Toys has yet to announce if theirs will come with the suit or not.

- as for the HT Batman from Sideshow, they ship by Fed Ex to Canada. So if no one is at your house to receive it (you will also have to pay a bonding fee, usually around $35-40 for HTs) then you would have to pick it up at the appropriate Fed Ex center.

Hope that helps. If you are considering picking up a Batman, I would pick it up sooner then later. Only because given my experience Batman or Iron Man 6 months after release becomes extremely difficult to find without paying a huge mark up.

Good luck!

honestly, eBay really. Soon I think most people are going to be wanting just the suit, so it might be difficult to get one.

Re: Hot Toys or other 1/6th goodness that makes our wallets cry

Just saw Black Widow pictures on OMG's thread. She looks really good. But the rooted hair looks like it would be hard to manage without gel.

Will wait and see how HT's Bat Armory turns out. But the Patara J's version is incredible. I don't see HT matching the quality of that piece regarding the building materials used for it.

Good luck with the Sewer Dio CTO15. I wanted to jump on it as soon as I saw it, but most of my funds are currently tied up in HT and TF preorders. Plus I just pulled the trigger on the Bat Pod a few days earlier. If you do make a 2nd run or if someone drops out, let me know. I'll figure something out.

For the ebay one

"Its including the Weapon Stage with LED-lighted on the roof. 1 x Batsuit(without truetype body) and all the accessories/weapon such as Batarangs, gun, bullets, belt etc. shown in the pictures."

What do they mean by 1 x batsuit without truetype body?

Thanks!

My Batpod came in today! Nothing really wrong with it other that the slightly left-aligned front tire, and that Batman looks like he's planking instead of riding it. Really jazzed about this thing, it's amazing! I'm really glad I finally pulled the trigger on this! Here are some pictures (I'd post more but don't want to go overboard like in the Freaks board).

This figure will be more rare, much like the MK VI Avengers promo version. So I think I will jump on this one, since I like the look of the battle damage better then the regular MK VII
