New Marvel Legends Out In Canada at EB Games
 

Hey everyone. Some exciting news!!!
The new Marvel Legends Kingpin wave has been spotted at EB Games.
This wave consists of Six Arm Spider-Man, Symbiote Suite Spider-Man, Puma, Nightthraser, Silver Sable, Black Cat and Red Goblin.

Also to mention...the Wolverine bike set finally made it up north. Priced at $29.99

My EB’s manifest for tomorrow’s shipment shows a case of the Spidey wave coming.

Hoping to snag the entire case minus the extra six arm Spiddy tomorrow!

Happy Hunting! I’ll have to check my store this week too. They’ve been low on Legends since before the holidays. Just want the Cat, and maybe Puma.

Night Trasher and Puma are the only ones I REALLY don’t want.

The other 5 will be nice additions. So not too bad, two meh figures to finish off the Kingpin.

Puma is a decent figure, but I would've only bought him at the 4" MarvelU scale, 6" doesn't matter to me at all. If I don't get Kingpin now I'm sure in a few years Hasbro will release him as a standalone figure for $40 or whatever. If they can milk that tooling again, you know they'll do it.

I still haven't bothered reading up on who Puma or Night Thrasher actually are, but I'm fairly excited for the other figs in the wave :)

Success! Grabbed the entire Kingpin BAF case minus the extra 6 arm Spider-Man!

I'm conflicted on this wave. I want the BAF but only really want Puma and Silver Sable...my toybiz king pin might have to live to fight another day.

The prices for Kingpin right now are crazy for that reason, not many people buying in and so no BAF pieces floating around. It is about $140 Canadian cheapest on eBay right now.

If the wave doesn't see much sales and likely not a restock, that BAF is going to be crazy prices in the future.

With my Onyx card I got 1 of the 7 figures free, so I am happy with that. Plus I wanted 5 of the 7, Puma and Night Trasher I am selling, I have a post here.

My LCBS usually gets me full cases for $190 all in. The owner knows I generally always want the comic book centric waves so maybe he put in an order for me. If so I'll just sell off the figs I dont want loose or keep some for custom fodder. I have too many expensive figures on pre orders that should be shipping within a month (mezco 1/12 Ghostbusters and Mafex comic Spidey come to mind) that I'm finding it hard to justify this spidey wave.

Finally got the set at EB games though they were missing Six arm spidey (can easily get him online loose). The Kingpin I knew I wanted but having built it, he is such a great looking BAF and easily a Top 5 BAF.

Uhhh that happened only twice? Thanos and Groot. Both for movie tie ins.

It hasn’t become a regular thing at all. And Thanos was like 3 years later and Groot 2 years later.

Also Sandman and Abomination in the Raft boxset.

It'd be cool to get a Spider-Man (non-Sinister-Six) comic villains box-set though

Yes that’s right! But once again Ultron was like 3 years since AOU and ditto Hulkbuster. And the whole 10 year line was basically mainly repacks.

Once again all for movie tie ins. So unless it’s a movie BAF you are unlikely to see it again.

I cannot rationalize buying waves anymore. I will wait and hope for the best. As with the Lizard, and Rhino, and Sandman, and Sauron...
