NECA has posted some official product photos for their newly released Defenders of the Earth Series 1 Figures. The 7″ scale figures are based on the classic 80’s Defenders of the Earth cartoon series. Flash Gordon, Ming The Merciless, and The Phantom make up the first assortment. These are currently available in Walmart stores, and will see a wider release this month. Check out the photos after the jump.

I have been waiting for these to show up. I heard that they cost $30 US in the states. I wonder if walmarts in canada will get them and how much will they be.

Definitely cool to see, but I have read on some boards that there are a lot of QC issues with the figures. Joints too tight, breakage, etc.

Yeah I saw on a collector's Instagram page pics of the broken joints on several of the figures he got. Hope that QC improves because NECA has not had many of these issues for a long time.
