Hot Toys or other 1/6th goodness that makes our wallets cry

So I think several of us here on the forum have dipped into HT, so a thread should be started for them. HT has been the latest money eater to my collection, and has vastly become my favorite. I only collect Marvel/DC related figures, since I have to be selective with this line

Some places to buy Hot Toy figures:

I have only purchased from 2 places so far.

2) Toy2
Toys2 is a direct dealer for Hot Toys. So any QC issues that you may have can be dealt with by them, no problem (ie. broken LED, bad paint, etc)

Eric is an awesome guy to deal with as well. Always willing to help

They do charge in USD, which I find weird, but since the dollar is on par; it's no big deal.

3) Legends Action Figures

I haven't dealt with them directly, but the prices seem to be similar to what SPC charges, but without free shipping. They are located in Montreal, so for anybody in that area; it might be easier to just order directly in store

4) Urban Samurai Hobbies located in Burnaby, Vancover

Their preorder price is less than retail and they have flat shipping within Canada for 13.95CAD. However they only ship once a week, which means our impatient selves need to wait :p

The Burton Batmobile was just announced. $630 at Sideshow, but it is being released in Q2 of 2013. So that should give some people the time to save lol

I'd like them to reissue the Batpod. I've realized I will never own a Tumbler or even the Burton Batmobile, just due to sheer size. My GF already makes a fuss whenever she sees my SDF-1. I don't know how she'd react to seeing the Tumbler.

Alas. I will have to live vicariously through CTO. I still want a Burton Batman though.

Haha. It's not the cost, it's the size. She knows I save up for this stuff and don't spend other non toy money. She has her eye on children in the near future, so she's looking at my toy den as a baby room now. This is why I packed up my GI Joes, and soon many other toys will follow.

I told her our baby could ride on the Tumbler, but she was not amused.

ahh I see I see. So if its the physical space that is the problem, perhaps you have to combine function and fashion
