Marvel Select Figures Available on Toys "R" Us Canada's Website
 

Thanks to a report by AFN member inhale, it seems that various Marvel Select figures are being offered on Toys "R" Us Canada's website. Just search for "Marvel Select". Selection appears to vary from Marvel Select's first released figures to the most recent movie related ones (like Amazing Spider-Man 2).

Let us know in the thread if you see any in your local stores.

I noticed these a week or two ago during TRU's last Marvel/Avengers sale. They seem to be all priced at $29.99 which is $5 more than the norm BUT they are included in any Marvel sale that TRU may be having. The last sale they had they were selling for $22.49 which isn't bad.

Too bad they don't scale well to Legends, a Movie Falcon would be cool.

I like the larger figures (Juggernaut, Rhino, Hulk, etc.). I think they scale really well with the Legends figures.

I mean c'mon, Legends Juggernaut is nice, but Select Juggernaut just portrays that "massive" feel certain characters should versus "normal" sized characters.

For the record, Diamonds SRP on these is now $24.99, so TRU's pricing is right in line.

A lot of smaller shops still just undersell in order to remain competitive.

Oh yes, I agree about the larger characters like you listed. For "regular sized" characters though it just doesn't work. I like the Select Thanos as well, more classic look than the new Legends BAF.

BAH, now toysrus.ca has increased free shipping to any purchase over $49.00. :(

It was $24.99 before.
