Hockey is back! The cold freeze has finally ended and McFarlane Toys is thrilled to announce their lineup for NHL Series 33. Though this line may be smaller than usual, it is still packed with new young faces, and a return of the most dynamic scorer in the NHL today!
This series features an all new pose for Steven Stamkos, the high octane scorer from the Tampa Bay Lighting who tallied 60 goals last season, and won the Maurice “Rocket” Richard Trophy. He is only the fourth player since the inception of the trophy to win the award twice.
NHL Series 33 showcases three rising stars, all making their SportsPicks Debut. Eric Karlsson, the 2012 winner of the James Norris Memorial Trophy for the league’s best defenseman; Max Pacioretty, who led the Canadiens in points last season: and Cory Schneider, the young net minder who is expected to take the Canucks to the next level of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, are all making their SportsPicks debut!
The Collector Level for NHL 33 is one of the most robust McFarlane has ever done, with SIX different options available. EVERY player has a CL, and two of the players have multiple CL’s.
Leading the way is an MVP Level for Erik Karlsson in his alternate striped Ottawa jersey. Next there is a GOLD level of Pacioretty in his white Canadiens jersey. The SILVER level is represented with Cory Schneider in his alternate Canucks uniform, and Stamkos in his 2012 NHL All Star Game uniform. The final BRONZE level has Stamkos is his Lighting alternate jersey, and Karlsson donning his 2012 All Star Game uniform.
