Collectible Toy Insurance in Canada?

Hi there, I wonder if anyone can help me here. I am the owner of a loose VC Jawa (worth $1000 minimum). I'm the second owner (I know he's authentic) and I've been sitting on this little gem (not literally!) since the mid-80s. I have decided to sell him on Ebay, however, if I'm going to get my price he needs to be graded by the Action Figure Authority. In order to send him off to be graded he needs to be insured and my regular house insurance broker won't touch him.
I've looked online at Collectible Toys brokers, but the only ones I found only cater to the states.
Does anyone know how to insure collectible toys in Canada?

when you say "send him off to be graded he needs to be insured"

do you mean you need insurance on shipping the figure? If so, then that option can be offered by whatever shipping company you deal with.

I've been reading the fine print and, yes, you're right about the shipping company and insurance. I've realised that I dont have to get the figure independently insured. Thanks for reading my post and for your reply to it.
Regards
Jules

I am interested in insurance for collectibles anyway.

Like the OP, I've seen adds, (and get them emailed to me often) for this kind of thing, but it's only for the USA.

I've always wondered about getting insurance on my stuff as well.
