PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU PLAN TO ATTEND SAN DIEGO COMIC-CON 2016!!!! Neca has confirmed through Twitter that these and most of their SDCC exclusives are pick up at con only, I repeat pickup at Con Only. I'm looking to purchase both sets of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the Stealth AvP Scrar Predator. Prices have been listed and obviously the Canadian dollar fluctuates so further details will have to worked out. I recently paid $125 for a Arkham Knight Red Hood exclusive so I'm more than willing to go above cost.

AMAZING! Too bad I'm going to have to pay the outrageous scalper prices on these sets...but as a proud owner of the arcade machine these are based on, I feel it's my duty to pick 'em up.

Yeah, I'm on board with ya. Gonna be ridiculous trying to get these in Canada. The bidding wars are gonna go through the roof, and I a saw a tweet early today saying it was trending on Facebook. However these sets have awoken a ravenous fanboy inside me.

Yeah, I'd love to get both sets myself, but I don't have my hopes up too high and in result, haven't been drooling as much over the pics as I would other figures - a shame really:(

I won't be surprised if both sets go for $500. Crazy! I miss the days I could buy SDCC EXCLUSIVES right off their website and have it delivered to Canada.

$500 might be pushing it. I'm sure the scalpers will be asking enough, but I can't see $250 per set right out of the gate. Sure there are guys on ebay pre selling these for around $250/set but I'm sure there will be better deals during/right after SDCC when people have them in hand and want to make a quick flip. I just plan on using the "buy it now" option on these and as early as possible...will end up the cheapest way, as prices will only go up in the following months after the con. If the prices stay firm at approx 250 then I'll only be in for the Turtles and not the foot.

Too bad Playmates can't just sit back and say "Ok. we make toys for kids, our collectors series have crashed and burnt. So let's just let these guys (NEca) have this share of the market and we will continue to capitalize on the young market". Its really time they loosen their strangle hold on the TMNT franchise in the 6" scale. Playmates are the ones that have chosen to cancel two figures the collectors wanted, said their classics line was over and then all the sudden jumped back on board with those awful Secret of the Ooze figures. Makes me sick :(

I am hoping that NECA will re-release these later, possibly in regular cartoon-specific paint?

It looks like they've done all new sculpts for these figures, so it'd make sense for them to make the most out of them and do a wide release of these figures in some form. And it's certainly something NECA is known for.

Also, considering how everyone is going nuts about having these (myself included!) NECA would be crazy not to make these more accessible.

But time will tell!
