The Avengers Movie Helicarrier Released in Canada
 

Thanks to sightings made by AFN members dinga and Toy Gremlin, we now know that The Avenger's movie Helicarrier has hit Canadian retail. The 3+ ft vehicle/playset, retailing for $79.99, was found at Zellers in British Columbia.

I think I saw this at Zellers Polopark today in Winnipeg. There was a big ass Avengers box anyway, pretty sure this must have been it.

Wow! I can't believe Zellers is selling this cheaper than TRU. The TRU Canada site has this on pre-order for $99.99. :eek:

Been seeing these all week. I hope they sit cause I wouldn't pay more than $30 for this thing.

The Helicarriers only cool feature is being long...Nothing else. At least the GI Joe Pit was nifty. This is just a long landing pad for the jet toy.

That would be great for the wallet, but I hope it sells well enough to warrant more big playsets in the future.

But...what does this thing do? Does it open up so figures fit inside it? I mean, the GI Joe Pit did. does this thing too? It just looks like a flat base for figures and jets to stand on...WHAT DOES IT DOOOOOOO!!!!!!
