Toys "R" Us Exclusive Battle of Geonosis: Jedi Knights Released in Canada
 

Thanks to a sighting made by AFN member Toy Gremlin, we now know that the Toys "R" Us exclusive Battle of Geonosis: Jedi Knights 4 packs have been released in Canada. One set consists of Que-Mars Redath, Selig Kenjenn, Khaat Qiyn, and Clone Captain Deviss. The other set consists of Roan Shryne, Sarrissa Jeng, Sephjet Josall, and Clone Commander Ponds.

The sighting was made at a Toys "R" Us in British Columbia.

What kind of articulation levels are we talking here? VC/BS or more like the non-standard kiddy fair?

Looks like a lot of interesting Jedi to add to the mix, provided they have the same level of articulation as most standard VC Era Jedi.

Scrapper, these are fully articulated (VC) but that's because every figure in these sets is just a kitbash of old Jedi bodies (RotS Pilot Obi-Wan for example) and the only real new bits are the heads. Of course the clonetroopers are, I'm pretty sure, just straight repacks of the old Clone Commander and Clone Captain using the 2003(?) SA clonetrooper body - would've been way better if they had used the newer clonetrooper mold.

All in all, a very unimpressive set. Since it's just kitbashing, the plastic skirts get in the way of being able to pose the Jedi in anything other than standing poses. Really not happy about that, it's just lazy work on Hasbro's part. You can bet too that TRU will try and charge $40-$50 for these just like they tried to do with the ewok and pilots sets last Christmas. Expect them to go for $25 after the holidays.

They made it to Ontario as well, my wife picked these up for me last week.

They look ok but I will wait for either a really good sale price or on clearance.Their pilots set is on clearance for $19.98 so I just have to be really patient.

I didnt' see them on sale at my local TRU or I might've picked up more at that price. They held out at a ludicrous $54.99 for what must be a world record duration.
