Star Wars 40th Anniversary Black Series Wave 1 Released in Canada
 

Thanks to a report from AFN member The Rock we now know that the Star Wars 40th Anniversary Black Series Wave 1 action figures have been released in Canada. This wave includes Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Han Solo and R2 D2.

Sightings are coming in from Walmart stores in Ontario.

Toys R Us Upper Wentworth in Hamilton has the Legacy Pack Darth Vader, but yeah, it's selling for $74.99.

If you're interested, they have about 8-9 of them on the counter at Customer Service.

Personally I'll wait lol. That Darth Vader looks great, but not $75 great.

I felt the regular price was high, but I will be honest I figured that they would be seeking a premium over the already premium price. but hey thats just me.

Agreed. Looking at the Obi-Wan I just bought sitting next to the Marvel Legends Yondu I just bought is soul crushing. Same price point, but way different level of quality and accessories. It's infuriating to think both lines come from Hasbro but are treated so differently.

Been to 3 Wal-Marts and 2 TRUs and haven't seen anything. Although one TRU had a sign up saying they were limiting the 40th stuff to 2 per customer.

I'm honestly not sure. I don't like doing pre-orders on Hasbro stuff anymore because it's almost impossible to know when we'll get it. Marvel Legends seems to be the one exception that's relatively reliable. SW and Transformers is a guessing game these days though.

Honestly, buying at TRU will end up being a better deal after their usual 25% off sale (maybe even 30% if we're lucky).

EB games had the legacy packs with Vader for $59.99.
