Expert help needed, identifly this hero
 
I'm looking for a name to this hero. Actually his Mom is. It was drawn by a 9 yr old. He says he doesn't know his name. It's got me stumped. He could just be screwing with us too.

Looks like a cross between Swamp-Thing and Vector Man. :p

Wha?!?

I still have no idea what it is, but the eyes look spiderman-ish...

I've tried googling around, figured the purple gloves would be unique...can't find anything...

The foot or leg has Marvel 1997 on it. I know I though maybe a Venom variant but the teeth are all wrong. I'm not sure the date really means anything.
