$17 for the animated figs? These are under $10 in the US!! I knew the Classics would be in the $20 range, but I'm surprised at that price point for the others.

Although these may be the talking deluxe line...

Looks like I'll be biting the proverbial bullet for those Classic Turtles. If the 4'' figures are really going to be 17$ a pop am I ever glad I'm not interested in getting this line.

Probably get one a month until I have all four turtles, so the question is, should I start with Mikey, Raph or Leo?

Just a note, those $17 figures aren't the 4-5" figures, they're the larger turtles that also have sound effects. I'm sure they're definitely less than $17 but probably a bit above $10.

Definitely going to pick up at least one of the Classic Turtles, but since they're so expensive I'll hold off for a bit. Eventually I'd probably like to get all of them, so hopefully they decide to add more characters to the line (I mean, what are the turtles without Shredder and the Foot?).

Go to Silver Snail in downtown Toronto. They have them today for 19.99. Even better, you can order them from Amazon.com and get them for $90 which includes shipping and import duties. Pretty good deal, actually.
