G.I. Joe Classified Released in Canada
 

Thanks to a report from AFN member StarwarsTF we now know that the G.I. Joe Classified action figures have been released in Canada.

The first sighting was made at a Walmart in Ontario. This wave includes Duke, Roadblock, Scarlett, Snake Eyes and Destro.

I'm still waiting for my pre-orders, seems like forever and ever, my nearest wal-mart is tragic, and I'm sure its even worse since the situation , guess I'll keep waiting

Some of the G.I. Joe reveals from yesterday's Fan Friday have shown up for pre-order on Amazon.ca. Arctic Storm Shadow (Amazon Exclusive), Gung-Ho, Red Ninja, and dark blue Cobra Commander.

FYI - It does appear that the dark blue version of Cobra Commander is the retail version for anyone that was confused (like me). The light blue version will also now be produced, known as the "regal variant" and seems to be a Hasbro Pulse Exclusive.

It will be like Red Hulk and heavy Mando. Expect scalpers to grab any online supply immediately. Stores will be rarely stocked. I would expect them to be widely available online, in store etc maybe Oct. I have never seen heavy Mando or red Hulk in stores, was only ever able to get them online.

Yeah the exclusive thing at TRU is always just as scary as it is being a Target exclusive in the US.

I stalked TRU's for Red Hulk in physical and Online since they went up, and never once saw a single figure in stock, same goes for that Heavy Mando, only ever saw it at a con for 80 bucks
not a good sign :(

I’ve seen both Red Hulk and Heavy Mando in huge quantities in Barrie, both TRUs.

A Canadian on Hisstank told me that he was told these showed up in Saskatoon by TRU workers there.

I called some Toys R us and most of them said they don't carry GI Joes. Whitby TRU had Duke left while Don Mills, Pickering and Markham didn't have any at all. Good news is they have all of them except Destro at Upper Canada Mall Toys R us in Newmarket. They had 2 Snake eyes but one went home with me. So now they have 1 Duke, 1 Scarlet, 1 Roadblock and 1 Snake eyes

I spoke to the manager at the Saskatoon store and they did not receive these figures.

Toys R Us Upper Wentworth in Hamilton had the first wave of GI Joe Classified as of 30 mins ago. They were wedged in between some Power Ranger and Ninja Turtles along the wall of the store.

There were two Snake Eyes, one Scarlet and one Roadblock.

I have yet to see a trace of these in Ottawa - do they actually exist? I wish TRU would put them up on their site if they're carrying them...I would even settle for 'sold out' listings at this point!

Last week or so I found GI Joes on Clearance for half price at Walmart Canada and then I found them at a Toys R us Canada just Saturday night this weekend. I guess I must be lucky?
