Thanks to a report from Manitoba we now know that the Star Wars Black Series Black Krrsantan has been released in Canada.

Sightings was from a Toys’R’Us in Manitoba and Alberta.

I feel like 50% of the time when you buy these figures you will open them up and find a different figure repackaged in there.

For now, the comic/novel inspired boxes for Black Series have a front flap that opens and shows the figure in packaging.

Shouldn't be any surprises as to what's inside if you're buying in-store.

The Vintage Collection Boba Fett figure is in the new plastic free packaging though, and it looks cheap. I'm calling them mystery boxes because you never know what you're going to find inside. A different/swapped figure? No figure? The right figure but with a misprinted face? It's a mystery!

Going forward with these windowless boxes, I will literally open up the box in the store right after I purchase it, in front of the cashier, to verify that it isn't a swapped figure.

If it is, they'll hopefully see it and let me do an exchange on the spot.

Such a stupid boneheaded move on Hasbro's part. Sure, get rid of the plastic trays, but not the windows.
