i hear you man. that was my first thought when i saw this. having said that, i just pre ordered this bad boy form spc. ;)

the fact that movie was soo good and that hot toys has listened and changed their final product on their figures when people dislike or find a figures sculpt in the promo shots are off (IM3 tony stark) makes me have faith that hot toys will change the body on this figure and make things right.

Aaaaand again it sells out while I dilly dally. I really have to learn to just jump on things. At least Toys2 still had it so I put in an order with them. MoS kicked so much ass. I'm seeing it again this week except in 2D. I nearly cried twice during the movie. During one of the Pa Kent scenes and at the end of the fight with Zod. I just have to have this toy. And yeah, here's hoping HT fixes the body before release.

People seemed to either love it or hate it. I saw it again tonight. Still just as good for me. The thing is, I believe if the essence and spirit of the character is there, it's good, even if it may not be 100% what I have known. Eg: I think Nolan got 90% of Batman right. I think they get 90% of Superman right with this movie. Honestly, I wouldn't go into this movie expecting all-knowing All-Star Superman. This is definitely a Superman who is learning on the job. And some lessons are learned the hard way. I went into this movie with over 30 years of baggage. Superman was a key figure in my moral development as a child, so believe me, I was scared shitless I would hate it. But I went in willing to forgive a lot, knowing it wouldn't be perfect. And I loved it.

Still time for improvements. There's at least half a year for Hot Toys to fix this issue.
The problem is the body type they use which I'm sure they are more than capable of fixing
