DC Collectibles is a really good company
 

I thought I'd share this experience with you all.

I purchased a DC Icons Green Arrow and Black Adam previously.

Green Arrow had a major issue with a looseness in his knee joint, so much so that I couldn't get him to stand on his own without toppling over.

Black Adam had a similar issue, but not as pronounced.

After hearing about DC Collectibles responding to QC issues with their Batman: The Animated Series figures (the breakages) I thought I'd shoot them an email outlining the issue I was having and asking if they had any replacement knee joints they could send. I offered to pay for them too, not expecting a free lunch!

Kevin Kiniry, VP of their Creative Team, responded and said while they didn't have any replacement parts on hand, if I could send a video of the issue I had with Green Arrow and Black Adam for their records.

With Black Adam, I eventually fixed his joint issue with some nail polish to solidify the joint, which worked well, and let Kevin know that he wasn't an issue anymore.

But I shot a quick video of the issue I was having and sent it to Kevin.

That was late January.

Fast forward to today, and when I get home from work, I find this in a delivery package. (see the pic)

Talk about going above and beyond! DC Collectibles friggin' rule.

Wow, above and beyond. Just goes to show how far a respectful e-mail can go.

I personally think DCC is the only part of DC that is doing anything right these days.

AGREED! They've dealt with my own quality control issues with great professionalism!

This occurred back in Dec 2014 with TAS Catwoman...

Selina didn't even make It out of the package before her arm fell off. I had the water boiled and everything to work out her joints.

I attempted to fix the issue with a small screw and a dremel. A good fix while I contacted DC Collectibles for a replacement:

A month later, I received my replacement Catwoman from FedEx, along with a note of acknowledgement:

While the breakage issue shouldn't have been an issue in the first place, I am impressed with how DCC handled my situation... I've continued to support the line!

That's pretty amazing that he responds to those issues personally, with a hand written note to boot.

Wow, Kudos to DC. Could you post the email address that you used? My Justice League Gods and Monsters Batman basically crumbled and while I received a replacement from my CBS, I did send DC an email with no response and I have a butt load of figures to open still with great fears that they may break.

Thank you. I'm hopping that I don't need to use it, but it makes me feel a whole lot better that they are so great with this stuff.
