Flavor of the Month?
 

My current flavor of the month is the G.I. Joe Modern line. Last month was DCIH, but this month I'm back to hunting down Joes that I missed the first time around. They're dominating about 95% of my toy budget right now. :p

Anyone else have something they're really into right now?

Since I'm almost done with TFA and ROTF hasn't quite hit, I'm looking into LEGO.

Figures-wise, it's been slow for me this month since there isn't really anything I am looking for and the MU's are out of stock everywhere.

So I have been back into my RC stuff lately.

I'm running low on money and just am not really interested in anything right now. I recently picked up the last few Animated toys I want though.

Marvel Universe. May go back to G.I. Joe in time for the new movie coming out later in the summer. But, I'm largely collecting the 3.75" Marvel guys. :D

I think I have a Hotshot or Boomerang somewhere in the basement...circa 1989(highschool days)... I also wore out a Grasshopper,Hornet and Hunter before those...Now my son and I practice and race at Sid's Ponds track down the street from us :)

Lucky you are so close to Sid's. I don't have any tracks closeby, so I just mainly build and display.

Here's my Grasshopper too. These are the rerelease models. I just preordered the rere Rough Rider too, can't wait to build that one!

I know what you mean. I dropped over $100 on Joes this month alone. Since there's been a bit of a slow down in other lines I collect, I've been catching up on Joes I missed the first time around. Getting expensive! However, really looking forward to having my Zartan with swamp skier! :D

A mix between the last little bit of Animated, Transformers Universe and the 25th Joe line. I will be buying ROTF figures, but only when they are on sale.

Marvel 3.75 figures for something current, but I'm really trying to track down The Tick action figures from the animated show/comic and the short lived live-action show. Been checking Ebay a lot more because of it.

I'm still on the 3.75 Marvel figures, but I'm starting to collect Transformers stuff in time for the new movie coming out later this month.

same with me. I'm pretty much caught up with MU (at least the figures that came to canada) so I'll be focusing on the ROTF figures. Don't have that much to buy, since I only buy the 'bots that are in the film

A new month, a new target. :D

So I'm still hunting down any 25th ann Joes I want for my loose collection, but I will also be focosing on any I'm missing for my MOSC collection. However, I think I will detour a bit later on and try to get some ROTF figures. Mostly just interested in the Human Alliance toys.

All about the ROTF right now. It's nice to have Transformers back in my collecting limelight again. G.I.Joe put them squarely on the backburner for quite a while.

Into ROTF stuff...sadly. :( I'm not picking up a whole lot but I'm opening up to a lot of figures, I'll probably start buying a couple more later when I get more money. :D

With a week until the movie it's not surprising that ROTF is the Flavor of the Month for a lot of Action Figure collectors. :)

Star Wars just never goes out of style:p That said we've been inbetween waves for a bit now especially on CWA.

Since I've picked up Skids, Sideswipe & Sideways I guess ROTF it is though I have not hit the ROTF toys very hard yet. Might not in the long run outside of a few wanted figs.:)

New month, new target: Focusing on the new waves of MU. Also searching for some GI Joe Variants. Finally may pick up a couple ROTF toys, specifically the twins if I can. My gf loves them. Thinks they're cute and funny. Go figure. :)

Hmm...trying to pick up some Transformers universe 2.0 figures and some 25th an Joe two packs. The sale at Winners is helping that cause :)

Also picking up the odd ROTF figures. It is not that I don`t want to buy them, it is that I am trying to get them on sale. I learned my lesson from Transformers 1

One week it's Anything Marvel Action figure related, another it's all Gi Joe, all the time.

with the release of the ML 2 packs, I'm army building like crazy. I already have 6 cases ordered...oh my poor wallet

Coming in late to the game, but G. I Joe 25th anniversary figures. Bought season 1 of the show on DVD and got a little nostalgic, went to Zellers and picked up Croc Master and Junkyard (the only 2 they had), we'll see where things go from there.

September goal: Clone Wars figures and nuthin' but! (I gotta say, I'm sort of glad GI Joe modern line is on hold for now, and there isn't much for MU until 2010 cause my wallet is bone dry...)

I think I got hooked on SW when you asked about it a while ago pud. :p

I'm only picking up chars that look cool, or troopers that look cool though.

Also semi-into Toy Story right now although I have no need for most of the chars.

I've found that I really like the CW TV show (better than the movie prequels) and I like the cartoon aesthetic of the figures. I saw a bunch of the legacy figures, but I decided to pass for now since I want to focus on CW.

I haven't seen CW yet but as I said in the sightings thread I do think the Destroyer Droid looks cooler than the Legacy one from the pics I've seen. I think the action feature looks neat as well, haven't opened him yet though!

I may give it a shot after I finish watching Episode III (just finished rewatching Ep IV-VI, I-II) if I'm not tired out by then. :p

October goals: work on filling gaps in my MU collection, as well as possibly a Revoltech or two, along with City Strike Snake Eyes from ROC if he ever shows up here.
