Strange Amazon Price listings

At first I thought I was imagining this but the Retro 3.75 Dr. Doom appears as two separate listings with two different prices

Anyone else ever encounter something like this ?

I see this every now and then. Probably an American and Canadian SKU. Amazon.ca seems to randomly do dropshipping for some items on Amazon.com.

Amazon in general has had a lot of nonsensical pricing recently. For example a standard Masterverse figure, Jitsu. https://www.amazon.ca/Universe-Maste...%2C101&sr=8-10
Why is his regular price $52, and 'on sale' for $43.61? Makes no sense.

Yeah I see this more and more now. For whatever reason there are items listed twice and usually one is cheaper by a good bit more than the other.

I see this with video games a lot, usually means one is a seller in Canada and the other one is another country, usually Europe and it has the PEGI rating on it instead of the ESRB.

In this particular case, is the overinflated price because it's from a 3rd party seller called Layger (whom I've seen many times before in Amazon marketplace as they also sell DVDs/blu-rays), and not directly from Amazon.ca?

In that case ya (I could have sworn it was "shipped and sold by Amazon.ca" the other day). But here's another example (screenshotted for posterity!)

I've been watching Catra for weeks now and she's usually in that price range, sold by Amazon.ca. Big markup from actual retail value.

Wonder if they think she's a Deluxe, cause that's the deluxe price.

I got mine from a local shop for like $29.99.
