Ottawa spotting: a single Dark Phoenix/Cyclops XMen two pack at the TRU in Stittsville. This one came home with me but it does appear that inventory is starting to hit the 613 area code finally.

It is back up on the site this morning...FINALLY got one and it's on sale too. Hurry though, I think there's very limited numbers.

Yup, saw the local pickup only as well and jumped on it. Not sure how it's there either, but worst case is that they refund my payment if they can't find it. Eagerly waiting for my pickup e-mail to arrive in my inbox! :D I even went back to search for a 2nd one to see if online inventory could pick out any other stores I could reach in this province, but nope, it seems to suggest the one I just bought was the last one in town. Phew!

.....and they just cancelled it. :( Son of a bitch. I hate exclusives more often than not. Why is this pair distributed so poorly but the Spidey/MJ 2-pack is so readily available!?!

Because demand is higher for the Cyclops/Phoenix 2 Pack. Stock is probably the same.

Not terrible mark-up considering retail price without the sale. Shipping was 15 and it's in Canada so no stupid other fees.

I did a search of other stores by keying in semi random postal codes (only the first 3 digits need to be legit), and got a hit in Red Deer so I ordered for that pick up location and fortunately they gave me a pick-up message. Luckily I'll be passing through there for work on my way up to Edmonton so no need to travel there just for that.

That said, my suggestion to anyone else looking for one and trying to use their in-store pickup, if you can't get it locally, see if you can find a friend in another city that has stock to buy it for you (since the person picking it up has to show their ID) and arrange mail out from your friend afterwards. Good luck!
