Thanks to the Canadian GI Joe Collectors Club we now know that the GI Joe Classified Alley Viper and B.A.T have been released in Canada.

Both were sighted at a Toys’R’Us in Ontario.

It'll be interesting to see how fast these fly off the shelves at $45.

Yes these are 2 highly sought after army builders, so it isn't a fair comparison. Plus they are some of the first sightings, which will help push FOMO. However I wonder what will happen later this year when this wave is everywhere, and the scalpers have moved on to other items, leaving, leaving just the fans, who also probably already got their figs.

I did want two BATs but if they're $45 each, you can bet that I'll leave it for the scalpers to swallow. Hopefully these figures don't stay Target/TRU exclusives down the road.

Hasbro loves to triple-dip so I foresee they'll get re-released again someday, hopefully when the supply chain issues clear up.

Just FYI, these two guys aren't exclusive.

They will be showing up at Gamestop, Walmart, just about all the smaller online shops (Toy Snowman, Zed Collectibles, eCollectibles, Red Shift 7, etc), and likely local comic/collectible shops.

Walmart has them showing in their system at $33.97, just to compare to that egregious Toys R Us price (this comment not to be confused with supporting Walmart or suggesting they are a "good" retailer, just highlighting the price disparity).

Most other retailers I've seen them posted at have them listed anywhere between $33.99 and $37.99.

Oh cool. Not buying them from TRU at that price, but if they’re showing up there they should be making the rounds at less insane retailers soon.

Glad they're finally showing up.

I'm actually a little glad that the price is a bit higher - if only because it means that I might actually get a chance to buy one in-store. If it deters Scalpers and "Army Builders", I'll go buy my 1 for a little more
