I open a toy & post it here... VOL 2!
Unfortunately due to Photobucket’s new pay-wall policy (how dare they want to make money?!), Vol 1 of the “Open a Toy and Post it here” was pretty well wiped clean. It was a total bummer as I had amassed 130 reviews over a number of months, but I suppose it happens. I’m going to continue with Vol 2 of my reviews but first I wanted to provide a greatest hits of sorts for each review I did before. I’m also still working on new reviews and I hope to provide them more consistently now that my life has calmed down some. Forgive some of the pictures as It was quite apparent that it was a learning experience from the start; hopefully they get better as the thread progresses.
As always, thanks for looking and I hope you enjoy looking at pictures of toys.

Happy to share in this thread! I noticed the same issue with the Action Figure Haul thread too with all the dead links and subscribe icons instead of pictures of wonderful toys!
This Venom is now my favourite Venom figure. I own the Select, Marvel Legends, Icons and many other Venom figures and this one definitely beats them all. It's 6" so it's not huge but the articulation, detail and more makes for an amazing Venom figure. My favourite part is that the symbiote is sculpted to feel alive and it looks wonderful. I just opened it yesterday and will be doing some more poses.

31 Mattel Lead Bottom
Feel free to judge me, but I like the Planes movies. Yes they are contrived and silly, but I feel they are also charming and have fantastic visuals. The sequel was also legitimately good as a Disney picture.

I have long since stopped collecting 3 ¾ inch figures, but I was swayed due to his Transfomers connection.

Thanks! I was actually agasint the KOs for a long while until I saw a YouTube review and they looked pretty decent. The mix is about 70/30 genuine to KO figure in my collection so I can still sleep at night.
41 Disney Infinity Darth Vader
I was delighted when I saw that Star Wars made the Infinity jump and they did not disappoint. This version of Vader could be a beautiful statue if it was a foot tall.

Regardless of the movies that they release I will always love the POTC franchise. This figure was a bit of a disappointment for the cost, but it sure looks pretty.

Nice Infinity haul. When they started going on clearance at Toys R Us, I also hunted a whole bunch down. From not knowing much about the game at all, now I have the Star Wars 3.0 starter pack, the Marvel Heroes 2.0 starter pack, and a whole bunch of Star Wars (everyone but the Rebels characters) and Marvel characters (everyone except Ronan). Oh, and also picked up the whole Inside Out team, as well as some other Pixar stuff like Hiro, Wreck-It Ralph, Vanellope, Woody, Buzz, Jesse, and 3 out of 4 Incredibles.

Thanks! I totally feel that Infinity is missing an opportunity with just producing the figures without the tech base.

Thank you! I was really hesitant to pick them up when they first came out, but they really look great with the whole GOTG crew. It's a bit crazy that they made 7 figures for one property and not one Goofy figure.

He was a must buy as soon as I saw him. I only wish they gave him a removable helmet.

Worth every penny, but I broke his mirrors off 2 minutes after I inboxed him.

58 Disney SW Phasma
Quick story, I was on a Mediterranean Cruise when the first “Force Friday” happened 2 years ago, but at one of the port stops we happened upon a DIsney Store and I couldn't help myself and had to pick her up. I don’t love the figure (More on that later) but it’s a nice souvenir for sure.

The official gateway drug to my new powerful “narcotic.” Venom was a pick up from a trip to Palm Springs. A very cool first Marvel Legend and the start of something cool.

60 Disney SW FO Stormtrooper
Back in Canada I was excited to see these figures at my local Disney Store, not so excited once I opened them up. Very ambitious idea, very meh execution.

Yeah, thats very true eh! Tooons of movie version Loki's over the years but nothing really great from the Marvel Legend line in terms of comic-ness, aside from one about 6-8 years ago.
Cool! Thanks for the TF link. I'll be sure to check it out :) ... And damn, if that MP BB doesnt look like the real deal.
That Venom shot is all kinds of awesome! Getting that bad boy was a major headache with Wallgreens but definitely worth it in the end, lol.

The Agent Venom pick up was completely out of the blue as I walked into a random Palm Springs Walgreens that had around 4 of them; if I had know how rare they were I would have grabbed a few extra. It's still one of my top figures.

Thanks!! Agreed about the Nightmare before Christmas stuff, there is way too much at this point. I think I got this one off amazon for relatively cheap, so it made sense.

Glad that you are enjoying these; It's exactly why I started documenting what I opened. I just hope Imagur doesn't screw everyone over like Photobucket did.
I also have hope that DCC will produce a Animated Series Two Face, but over all this version is pretty great.
71 Disney Infinity Darth Maul
I like the prequels and felt that Maul was totally wasted. Reminds me of a simpler time.
http://i.imgur.com/gMYp39L.jpg
72 Hasbro Carnage
Picked him up at a liquidation retailer for $8. I didn’t realized how great of a deal that was at the time.

73 DCC G&M Superman
No broken limbs on this guy and they nailed his smug “Zhod like” facial expression.
http://i.imgur.com/FwpRy51.jpg
74 Hasbro Superior Spider-Man
While the character is Superior, the figure is just average. Seriously the comic version has all these awesome gadgets while the toy is a simple repaint.
http://i.imgur.com/8FtHplM.jpg
75 Hasbro Black Cat
Another pick up from the Liquidation store. Base by me. I’m still not sure that she is legitimate given her bluish hair color, but from everything I have seen looks to be ok.

Yeah, that Maul is a bit odd looking, one of the best poses though. I also had no clue about that Carnage until after getting home. It's phenomenal though.
As for the Justice League Goods and Monsters... it's a great movie. Love the style and the story is really great. My only issue is that where is the real Wonder Woman?

Re: I open a toy & post it here... VOL 2!
Sorry to say that that Carnage looks like it's the knockoff version. The mouth isn't fully painted (the original has black going all the way up to and including the teeth) and the eyes are silver, whereas the original has white eyes.
Another check you could do is the back tentacles, I can't really see them very well on your picture. The knockoff has a little connector piece between two tentacles that isn't present in the original.
Still not bad for 8 bucks though, I would've picked that up myself.

It's tough to say what ends up as a KO, but doing some quick research I wouldn't go the KO route for Marvel Legends given that they are really hit or miss. It also doesn't seem that the new waves are produced in any reasonable way with legit ones probably easier to find. I think other recent notable MLs are pizza Spiderman and Deadpool. Outside of that it looks like this was the only full wave available, but I could be wrong.
76 Hasbro Amazing Spider-Man
A fine figure, but pretty unremarkable given that he was supposed to be the titular character for the movie. Also, apparently a KO!
http://i.imgur.com/Ab33JRo.jpg
77 Hasbro Electro
I didn't love him in the movie, but this figure is actually pretty nice. Can't remember if I bought him at the same place as the other KOs though. How can I tell?
http://i.imgur.com/2r8Gl4S.jpg
78 Hasbro Ultimate Beetle
Filler! And a KO filler at that!
http://i.imgur.com/MomhocX.jpg
79 Hasbro The Green Goblin
My first completed BAF. Pretty impressive, but I never loved the “intimate verse” Goblin. I guess it's 75 KO, but seems to be pretty ok overall.

Wonder Woman in name alone, I wonder what happened to the Amazons in this movie universe?

83 DCC Icons Batman
I loved the Icons from the start and am disappointed with how they fizzled out as they could have been really good in the long term.

84 Hasbro Speed Demon
Filler, but a fun figure nevertheless.
http://i.imgur.com/8cm45PA.jpg
85 Hasbro Scourge
I wanted this, not for the character, but more for the fact that he's like a 6” GI Joe figure. Come on Hasbro, you know you are itching to go back to that well.
