Zellers coming back?
 

Heard from msn this morning that the Hudson Bay is thinking about resurrecting Zellers.


Could this be good news for any target exclusives here?

I REALLY hope they do revive Zellers, because I personally miss it (nostalgia is strong). I used to love their bargain bins for games and movies. It would be great if they got Target exclusives since I'm tired of the limited options between Wal-Mart and Toys R Us (Canadian Tire used to get some Star Wars figures, but their toy department seems pretty dead now).

That would be really cool if that were true, Zellers could be like the Canadian Target and we could actually get some better chances at more big box stores carrying action figures.

Sadly it will just be small sections in HBC stores with Zellers and an online shop. Not anywhere near the old Zellers. I miss all the deals I got shopping and working there. One of the last stores with a huge clearance section and loved when we had 70-80% off sales as they also let us use our 10% staff discount . Got a lot of great items there. Our toy department might have been a mess but you could always dig through and find something.
