Taking apart Marvel Legends figures. Need advice

Hey there. Need some advice on how to disassemble Marvel Legends figures, the regular size not small ones. I have two customs in mind but it will require taking both figures apart to make them work properly. I have not done this before so I was hoping some who may have can help.
Now, for what I know, use a heat gun and pry with a slotted screwdriver to break the torso free. Is there another way is that pretty much it. Just curious if there is a simpler less annoying way to take them apart.

Any help appreciated.

nah, the only way to crack open a body is the long and dirty way, heat + screwdriver. Sometimes the glue used is such a pain, so some figures will take longer then others

CT0's right....the best way to disassemble a Marvel fig is a heat and crack method....its a pain but have fun and enjoy the tedious process....
