You can’t beat a Hot Wheels collector at their own game
 

I don’t generally collect Hot Wheels unless there is a cross over with the pop culture properties that I like. Case in point: a series of marvel comics cars featuring Captain America related characters was just released. In less than a day six Walmarts around me sold out leaving just the remnants of the wave ( one or two cars out of a case of twelve) was all that was left. Those guys are good.

Lol, I know the feeling. I don’t collect hot wheels but I like Star Wars, marvel etc.
I know I’m a lower tier toy hunter cuz I only find left overs and shelf warmers. I’ve made peace with that a long time ago, lol

This time around my story has a happy ending. After hitting up several Walmarts without any luck I went to one that I don’t usually frequent. In the seasonal section I saw some toy palettes. Unlike AF cases I wasn’t even sure what I was liking for but lo and behold there was this tiny case that, had it not already been opened, I would have missed. Anyway got my hands on the whole assortment. I must admit that in addition to being happy to have gotten my hands on them I also felt some level of satisfaction. They can have their THs and Super THs, Make Mine Marvel!

This is what is driving my son nuts trying to find a Hot Wheels Tesla Cybertruck...Hot Wheels collectors are serious.
