Any one else notice that the 6" Marvel figures have gone up to $29.99+tax now? They hadn't changed the price labels on the shelf but when I did a price check, my eyes bugged out of my head at the increase...

Walmart.ca also increase marvel legends to 29.92$ + tx ! Ouch !!!

This is too F'n much, man.
I seriously am becoming more and more depressed about this and want to quit collecting.

Yeah, almost $34 per figure is getting to be a bit much. I too may also have to cut my collecting back.

Someone posited the theory that the price increase is due to an increase in Disney's licensing fees across the board (to Star Wars, MarvelU, etc) since the increase is happening at both TRU and Walmart at the same time.

That'd be the 2nd time Disney has imposed higher costs to Hasbro (gee, you'd almost think they want to drive Hasbro out of biz so that Disney can handle the merchandising themselves... in 2 years time, we'll all be running to the Disney Store to get our plastic fix).

Damn, with those prices it makes buying them at toyshow inflated price seem fair. BTW anyone have an extra Black Panther 6", I need him and Gi-Ant-man's leg :) I have a few MISB ML's to trade too.
