Your worst figure purchase in 2023?

2023 is coming to a close. Think back on all you bought this year, what was your worst purchase?

Mention a runner up or two as well if you like.

Mine was a McFarlane DC Etrigan figure. Looked great but the articulation was bad and the bottom of the feet were molded in a way that made him hard to stand without the stand.

McFarlane in general tends to do that, great looking figures with wonky issues and lack of consistency across the line.

Ill toss a nod towards the GI Joe "lego" sets we have been finding at dollaramas lately but it's hard to get upset over $5 and the mini figs aren't too bad.

SHF Zoro. So disappointing that he turned out as stiff as he did. The robes were done extremely poorly so the legs can barely move, the shoulders are over designed AND don't work as they should. Definitely a lackluster figure.

McFarlane Batman '66 Robin. I preordered him because I was really impressed with the sculpt and facial likeness, but the arms do not rotate forward and the shoulders only allow for the arms to kind of rotate outward at a 45-degree angle.

Very poor articulation design, I almost snapped the arm off trying to rotate it forward before I realized it wasn't meant to do that.

I don't think I've seen a single person praise that figure. From what I heard Luffy sucks too and only Sanji turned out to be solid.

For me it would also be Falcon just based on the horrible Thunderbirds face sculpt.

peek a boo

He was a super Chad, Hasbro did him dirty.

Also became a drug addict and was written off the show. What a fall from grace.

Because it is bad. Luffy isn't bad, there's some over-engineered stuff going on in his shoulders, and his knees are clearly based on some design they thought would work then gave up on it halfway through. His knees get only to around 90?, which is pretty bad, but aside from that it gets all the articulation you'd want out of it. Sanji to me feels like the strongest of the 3, and Zoro by far the worst.

Even though it's not a figure I'd say Flash Movie batmobile. Only reason it's a bad purchase is because they did the gold label one with Keaton Batman after.
