GI Joe Classified Roadblock Heavy Machine Gun Mod
 

I love the Amazon exclusive Roadblock, except his primary weapon. I wanted some far more 80?s accurate.

So I had a thought and went shopping at Cobra Collectibles in Winnipeg, the ultimate parts store. There Mike(store owner) got me down a bin of 80?s Rambo weapons.

And there it was. I gave it a slight handle upgrade to better resemble the original from the toy and comics. Don?t have the colour of the handle quite right, but it will do for now.

I?m quite happy with the end result. And it ended up costing me like a grand total of $5, because I bought like ten different weapons and parts for $25.

I assume the guys/companies selling similar ones for $45 are 3D printing them.

This one is good but pricey. The Rambo gun is excellent but I think so hard to find.

Looks cool. But yeah the price, USD, plus shipping is the thing.

I got a quad base in the lot with it as well. Just trying to find a backpack that works to incorporate it.

I used that same gun for my Roadblock. Where did that handle come from? I like it. I have the original double handle at the back but doesn't work well with RB. Would love to copy what you did.

The handle is cut off a soft grenade launcher type gun that came with DC Rick Flagg.

I used a screw to cut a hole through the middle and slid it onto the protruding bar at the back of the gun, alongside glue - thus making it stay in place solidly.

Here is a pic to show that protruding pipe shaped bit at the guns rear.

Great work bro! My Roadblock is 'borrowing' one of Serpentor's Ma Deuce chariot guns, but he'll have to return it sooner or later. I'll give this a shot as well! Thanks for sharing!
