Re: Marvel Legends discussion
Some stuff that was Pulse exclusive has been made available, including the Drax & Moondragon set.
We put a couple of things up for PO if it works out cheaper for you....

Re: Marvel Legends discussion
Sorry, but this is not true. There has been well-documented research about all the things that were done wrong.
I've heard first-hand reports. I worked with somebody who was involved with...

Re: Marvel Legends discussion
Saying we should have our own because the EU does doesn't make sense. The EU has ONE Pulse site for all of the included EU countries. Why would they create a second site for a country that is...

Re: Marvel Legends discussion
I think people are severely underestimating how much shipping actually costs.
Any of these Haslab projects probably have to be shipped individually due to size constraints. If Hasbro gave a...

Re: Marvel Legends discussion
Hasbro was re-offering solid cases of both Venom and Carnage from that wave. Could very well be legit, though that price is maybe a bit sketchy.

That store continues to spam my inbox even though I never signed up for any communication.
They are also in violation of anti-spam law, as there is no clear way to unsubscribe from their emails...

Re: Marvel Legends discussion
Another note - Hasbro also has very little control over when product arrives. They schedule it at the factory, it gets made...but then they are at the whim of transport, which is still not operating...

Re: Marvel Legends discussion
I don't think it's anybody's "fault" that everything is hitting at once.
We're in a post-pandemic window where most toy companies are finally getting caught up with production from the last 3...

Re: Marvel Legends discussion
That sounds like a weird thing to happen with a credit card out of the blue.
They'll usually put a hold on your card and contact you, not just up and close your account.

Re: Marvel Legends discussion
I have no knowledge either way, but even back to the EB Games days I assumed that they had a buy in conjunction with Gamestop, which is why they were able to receive goods much earlier than TRU.

Re: Marvel Legends discussion
TRU should not be paying $300 a case in any way. Even assuming freight to individual stores being factored it (which it likely is and should be), it's way too high. They would be better off if each...

Re: Marvel Legends discussion
If TRU is paying $300 per case of ML, they are doing something very wrong.

Re: Marvel Legends discussion
I'd be interested to see what their cost actually is, but yeah, the margin on toys is not very big.

Re: Marvel Legends discussion
A small note, as I just checked - the cost of a 8 figure ML case for me has increased about 15% over the last year.
That would not necessarily be reflective of costs for big companies though.

Re: Marvel Legends discussion
Well Walmart is probably much less concerned about profit margins on specific products. They can carry cost increases for much longer, but I'd wager they will follow suit eventually.
The prices...

Re: Marvel Legends discussion
They've done it sporadically in the past, but often after the assortments. It seems more consistent now, and they're offered at the same time.

Re: Marvel Legends discussion
Cost from Hasbro is higher on these, no additional profit on the retailer side.
