The GI Joe block sets were part of the short-lived Hasbro Built-To-Rule (BTR) line. I don't know if it was actually a joint venture with Lego, or just something similar, like Mega Blox.

That's actually pretty funny. Either that's a typo, or scrap-iron is no longer a popular character at Hasbro.

Its a little late now, but there were some. I think they had a Buttons McBoomBoom MOC, and a Big Boss, that wasn't on card, but came with it. And, of course, some loose stuff.

I saw one or two dealers selling MUSCLE stuff there, as well as some of the other vinyl/rubber toys from that era.

It wasn't hysterical, but it was quite good. Might not go down in history as a classic, but certainly worth the price of admission.

Yeah, the Lego soccer was really fun. I'm kind of surprised they didn't try to push this concept a little further.
