Re: Marvel Legends discussion

The mold doesn't really have an impact on plasticizers leaking. For instance, Hasbro's most overused mold Bucky-Cap, hasn't had a figure where plasticizers leak out (at least not yet).

The issue...

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

That's why I opted not to preorder Scarlet Spider. The demand is clearly there and I was still burnt from the bad taste that the Symbiote Spider-Man left me.

I eventually ended up finding Symbiote...

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

Something I'm noticing is the very sporadic amount of Legends stock that Toys R Us has. The one in Hurontario has a decent amount, but then you look at Vaughan Mills and its barely 30% of an aisle....

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

It's on Amazon for 71.99, that's why the price for Gamestop was so strange since the original price is 80

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

Wow, Gamestop has the most expensive version of Hawkeye. Was hoping it'd be priced in the 60s after Edge discount.

Re: Hasbro Power Rangers Lightning Collection Line

Basically it's either bent, has stress marks, or outright broken out of the box.

And if its not, the latch is too soft that when you do try to transform it, you'll end up breaking it at some point.

Re: Hasbro Power Rangers Lightning Collection Line

If this was a year ago, I would've immediately bought the remastered MMPR. But man 50 dollars per remaster is a hard sell for me now. The effect pieces and extra display options don't do anything for...

Re: Hasbro Bringing Back Window Packaging in 2024!

I remember hearing complaints about BAF as a concept since the dark days, so it's probably them going "well if they hate BAFs, then we can just charge them for deluxes" (which is obscene considering...

Re: McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse toyline

Hmmm, Gamestop took down the listing for the Batwing, which is rather strange.

Re: McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse toyline

Found the Gold Label Martian Manhunter, and I have to say, this is probably the best Martian Manhunter figure I've ever come across. The sculpt looks amazing, the proportions look incredible, and...

Re: McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse toyline

That's true. FOMO seems to be a major part of these companies' business models, which is unfortunate because there are always going to be new buyers from people who grew up post-Knightfall (and other...

Re: McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse toyline

The more likely aspect is because Azrael Batman was Gold Label, McFarlane is probably gonna repaint the figure in its red/gold/gray colours with a more mecha head from the end of the Knightfall...

Re: McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse toyline

I know this isn't exactly McFarlane, but considering the Spinmaster Batwing for the Flash movie is Target exclusive, does anyone know if it'll be exclusive to a store in Canada?

Since I like to...

Re: McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse toyline

If anyone didn't get to the Batmobile on time, there's a super underrated alternative if you don't mind that it's from a different comic run.

Walmart Canada still has the Batraptor in stock for 30...

Re: McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse toyline

McFarlane seems to be stepping up their game. Between the Batmobile, the upcoming Knightfall Batman, they've officially sunken me back into buying DC figures and making a Justice League display.

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

Now thats way more reasonable. Had no idea what they were smoking thinking that 84.99 was the conversion from the American price of 29.99.

Might think about picking it up soon.

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

I think generally mecha products are almost always closed boxes going as far as early Super Sentai series and eventually the Power Rangers series. I remember Bandai's Zords always been closed boxes,...

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

When you look at premium collector lines like Mafex and Revoltech and still see a window, it does make me wonder where Hasbro got the idea that the closed boxes offer a more premium feel. Because it...

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

Check your gamestops, Mr. Knights shipped out to stores and just got my figure. Some stores got multiple stock, while some got only 1.

Apparently this is supposed to be one of the more difficult...

Re: Haslab Projects General Discussion

Ryan mentioned they were going to reveal tiers in NYCC, but once that happened, he also blurt out that the execs weren't happy with the performance of the Haslab, so that influenced their decision to...

Re: Toys R Us Canada Announces all Collector Items Products as FINAL SALE

I've been to 2 major TRU locations, and none of them list Marvel Legends or other lines as being final sale. So it at least lends credibility to it being on a store-by-store basis. However, I have...

Re: Toys R Us Canada Announces all Collector Items Products as FINAL SALE

Now I really wonder what's the point of the cameras that they supposedly spent hundreds of millions on starting in 2018.

By any chance does anyone know if they've seen a J Jonah Jameson on the retro card on any stores?
